I share your views. a part of our training was think from the opponents perspective to better appreciate and counter move it.

making the LoC an IB might be the last solution. making the border completely irrelevant and allowing free movement is another (much more ambitious and specially hated by militants who dont want peace)

in the end its the human cost of Kashmiris we are talking about. sell them the Indianhood not through over 1 million troops but something less brutal.

The less brutal are the elections and this year in atleast in Indian side they voted for BJP which never happened in History. I don't know about Azad Kashmir.
More over India has given autonomous state to Jammu and Kashmir and those who do not belong to it cannot buy land in Jammu or in Kashmir being part of Indian main land, there is an article 376 for Jammu and Kashmir. More cannot be done unless until cease fire violations and infiltration stops because civilians come under cross fire.

I respect your input but you have to call a spade a spade. LOC was clearly demarcated when Kargil took place. In case of Saichin it was not, so it was no mans land. We had as much right to it as you guys but we took control first.

You guys have occupied more than half of erstwhile Kashmir in 1947, so why not call it evens. There is no end to justification.

Why not move your army from the border? You have started 1947,1965,1971 and 1999 wars. Hence our army to crush any misadventures on your part.

Your army barely crushed anything being 7 times as powerful. Second, the people of Kashmir on your side are oppressed. Not ours. You have 7000000 soldiers to control your part of Kashmir. We dont.

Thanks for your concerns but your concerns should be limited to your own. We have had enough of your proxy wars.

If you are so concerned about normalizing their situation then make it liberal visa regime and open up trade. Make it a soft border and you keep your part and we will keep ours.

Saat janam is totally different concept. It states that a husband and wife are together for 7 cycles of Birth and Re Birth. Nothing to do with Martyrdom.
