What if they have been brainstorming options of a Naval Attack, including on Karachi, behind closed doors with their generals. So obviously then Karachi will be on his mind. As per the reports their Aircraft carrier INS Vikrant left the Mumbai port on 27th Feb and then turned of its GPS so its location cannot be checked. Assuming it is heading towards Pakistan, as per my rough estimate it will take it around 12 days before it will is be at the edge of our territorial waters. I am not saying that it is heading towards Pakistan, but if it is then until it gets to our water, they would like to keep it undetected, to keep us guessing and to maintain that element of surprise. So it is only logical if there is a silence right now but it may not be an actual de-escalation. Maybe I am reading too much into his slip of tongue but given Modi's madness and his near election anything is expected from him.
