Body of Iranian Soldier Killed by Pakistan-Based Terrorists Repatriated

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced that it has found, identified and returned home the body of Jamshid Danaeifar, an Iranian border guard kidnapped by a Pakistan-based terrorist group in February 2014.

The Intelligence Ministry said in a statement on Sunday that Danaeifar’s body was transferred to Iran on March 21 following extensive intelligence operations by its forces that also led to the arrest of some people involved in the murder of the Iranian border guard, a sergeant.
Jamshid Danaeifar, along with four other Iranian border guards, was kidnapped on February 6, 2014, by a Pakistani-based terrorist group named the Jaish-ul-Adl.
They were abducted in Jakigour region in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan and taken to Pakistan.
Four of the five abductees were released and returned home after being held hostage for two months.
On March 23, 2014, Jaish-ul-Adl announced in a Twitter message that it had killed Danaeifar but the terrorist group has provided no evidence to confirm its claim. The four released border guards said at the time that Danaeifar had been separated from them for nearly a month.

Its sad that almost every thread relating to Iran becomes a troll fest. I mean when we muslims can't live at peace how the hell will we forge a united front against westerners. The situation depresses me. I have a lot of respect for Iran but I do not favor the undemocratic system. Anyway lets hope that Iranians and Saudis, Iranians and Turks and as this aryan race guys comments show Pakistan and Iran can solve their problems.

However do note before any Islamic ummah is formed the first problem we are to solve should be terrorism and the ideal that anyone can be declared kaffir and therefore war can be waged upon them. This ideal is idiotic and has caused much pain to majority Islamic nations.

Also do take @PersianAryanMasterRace 's comment with a pinch of salt. US is doing everything to isolate Iran more than it already is... maybe he is part of the effort?

This news was published yesterday. No conspiracy theories please, especially lame ones like this.

After capture of 5 soldiers last year, terrorists separated Danaiee far and hanged him afterwards, then buried him in the same place.

According to intelligence ministry, They arrested one of the Jundallah operatives, interrogated him which led to revelation of burial place of Danaiee far and also arrest of some other terrorists.

There is no report whether transferring the body of the officer was done in cooperation with Pakistan or not.

RIP to the soldier.

I think if the late Zia ul Haq was alive and ruled Pakistan by now Pakistan would be no. 1 power in islamic world. Especially in high military technology and industry. At least would be among top 20 large economies in the world

It is ironic you support the most autocratic of all dictators in the country... the said person, Zia Ul Haq not only gave support to sunnis in forming the states Islamist laws but also supported and formed militant groups like the lashkar e jhangvi or the sipah e sahaba which view Iran only with hatred and shias in general with even more hatred. At least 10000 shias have been killed in the past years and them and the Taliban are responsible.

So that is a poor take on our country vis a vis Iran relations. If you want an ally to Iran Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was one and he launched operations in Balochistan with support of Iran. He too was an autocrat though and I personally hate him and his generations. He was in a relationship with the shah though... and he had an Iranian wife...

I have read a book of some Pak Ex Intel officer being Shia himself clearly showing that Gen Zia actually helped Iran during Iran Iraq war, same is the case with all later Govt's. Yet sad to see response of Irani brothers.
