The reason why this is quoted is because your governments have had agreement with Saudi for its defence. Which means if at all a conflict breaks out between Iran and KSA, your troops will have to make the decision to enter the war on Saudi's behalf.

It is a simple question the thread starter has asked; what is the official position of Pakistan keeping Iran in view?

The news is from DEBKA. Saudi Arabia does not really need allies such as Pakistan for such a task, as they already are allied with US and Israel.

What has been reported actually is that Pakistan announced to help Saudis with its territorial integrity, a very diplomatic statement devoid of any real value. Note that even if Saudi kingdom faces a meltdown and civil war with collapse of the kingdom, still Pakistan can issue the same statement which will be true (as it has already done even in the case of Syria). Territorial integrity does not mean any commitment to save the Saudi king.

On the realistic side, Pakistan is in war with Takfiris inside its own borders. The Takfiris bred and raised by Saudi Arabia.

Another point to be noted, is the fact that according to IAEA, Pakistan gave blueprints of a nuclear program to Iran, Libya and North Korea but never to Saudis.

There is a growing and widespread realization around the world including in Pakistan for the need to rein in the Saudis. In this regard, Pakistan actually refused to be part of Saudi coalition in Yemen and has kept its distance from Saudi Sunni coalition. Though Pakistan will understandably need to keep a diplomatic middle ground since it makes some money off the Saudis and has economic interests inside Saudi Arabia.

Saudis are just clutching at straws here. They are in pretty tight spot and need to console themselves with these ridiculous reports. Saudis should not be taken seriously. They are a bunch who were created by British and crowned by Lawrence of Arabia.

Very soon Hijaz will be free again.

Really? I have seen dozens of posts from Pakistani members on this forum who wanted to side with Saudia against Iran. If you cannot get consensus internal just blame India. That should solve the problem.

Pakistani Air Force is bombing Takfiris day and night. Pakistani Army is ripping apart the Takfiris. And I understand why you are so hurt. Because you are not seeing Pakistani military fighting the Shia community. But that is what is commendable about Pakistani military. They know their enemies very well.

TTP and Baloch insurgency to a large extent have been due to Pakistan's own policies. When Pakistan was feeding Pakistani Baloch sardars to become gigantic snakes that they are now, Iran implemented a land reform program and cut off the head of every Sardar and feudal lord in Iran. Something that Pakistan to this day is not capable of doing so. TTP is also a reverse concoction that Pakistan has been using on Afghanistan with a bit of help from Afghan, US and Indian governments.

The truth is, the game has changed to Iran's favor. From Paris to Damascus and from Timbaktu to Dhaka it is the Takfiris who are being hunted. This is what Iran has been wanting to see for decades and centuries. The rest of your BS is just that.
