I agree with your line of maintaining balance with relation with both India and Pakistan. My answer was against the impression I got which sounded Bangladesh should gang up with Pakistan against India. As India is not openly hostile country, I do not find logic in that posture.Disagree, we should be careful not to align our foreign policy with any country and keep it entirely independent. As they say there's no permanent friend or enemy in international relations. India supported Myanmar in the Rohingya issue as they abstained or voted against all the UN resolutions on Rohingya genocide. In fact, they supplied Myanmar with torpedoes as soon as we inducted the two submarines.
We should rather thrive to become a regional leader by taking both India and Pakistan into confidence and act as an effective arbitrator between the two countries in critical issues like Kashmir to ensure stability and peace in the region.
