So when Pakistani army declined to admit the results of election which was held in the supervision of army itself and started the military action ( to put it mildly) on March 23, 1971, Bengali's did the same things as Mujahedin, Hezbollah & Syrians.

No one likes to get screwed over and that's how world works. I'm sure you might have heard it once or twice something that Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib said “society can survive with kufr, but not with injustice”.

If you believe what Bengalis did in 1971 has not been done since then, then please ask your muslim brothers in TTP & BLA. Heck while at it, why not ask brothers in Iran as why they started Chahbahar project with Kafir India, against Pakistan.

Are you for real? Do you know what happened in East Pakistan between 22nd March & 3rd December of 1971? War only started on December 3, in case you did not know that.

Even authors from Pakistani military, like Siddique Salik has hinted about this. And if you read authors from any third country (other than India) you'd get all your evidence.

.. and BTW if you have read Siddique Salik on East Pakistan, then people would understand why amnesty to TTP is being discussed now. You do not want to repeat the mistakes of 1971. A general amnesty was considered by Pakistani army on April 1971 but it was adopted too late when about 2/3rd of East Pakistan was already out of their control.

Army did nothing wrong in East Pakistan. Thats a fact. They didnt conduct a genocide or a massacre. All they strength was comitted to fighting an insurgency created by the Mukti Buhini and supported by India.

Whether the pro pak militias did do any wrong doings thats on them. Not the army. Army had its own job to do. To pin the blame on the army is to ultimately ignore history as we know it. There is no logic for the army to target any civil populations. Limited weaponry and ammo and limited servicemen dictates it.

Siddique Salik 'witness to surrender' i know about the book but havent read it. But i have seen enough evidence to suggest the pak army didnt do said atrocities.

As for amnesty for TTP.... Its not the same thing

Even Pakistani Publications mentions that it all started from Operation Searchlight.

After reading the opinions of ultra nationalists Pakistanis, I am sure Bengali's would thank the God hundred time over about the outcome of 1971.

Pakistan and Bangladesh should move on from 1971 mentality, it's in best interest of both countries as both are majority Muslim population countries so should be plenty common ground to work for mutual benefits.
