One of my relatives (RIP) (cousin of Gradpa) married twice... for children... Although he didnt have children even from his second wife... but she was loved and respected by all people... the second wife.... Hajji sb's first wife was rather despised.

The second wife... she used to do all chores, even massage the first wife... bring them food etc... and she loved children... whenever i went to their house ... she would love me and bring me things to eat... she was the best old lady ever.. May she remain happy and blessed.

I don't think so. It's been 40 years. First one couldn't have kids. Second one only had one daughter and she described herself as having two mothers.

In my side of the familia... nobody had 2 wives... expect that distint relative.

However, my father in laws, dad had 2 wives... things werent so rosy... however my father in law is a great man... he still looks after his step family.... even after the stuff he went through..

It is such a sad thing that no one has a second wife in my family from our great grand fathers to my father. Me and my bro also have no intention so far neither any of my male cousins.. but someone should break this tradition ...
