MBS requests Iraqi mediation between Iran and KSA

They have targeted the heart of Saudi Arabia more than once.

I only talk specifics, this is generic and doesn't mean anything.

As for the Abqaiq Attack, just because the Saudis have failed to detect it (which is another example of their incompetence), it doesn't mean it was launched from the Iranian territory.

US was well aware of exact launch site in Iran and the weapons were seen crossing into Saudi Arabia through Kuwait. It came from Iran.

I am sure that the Saudi Army has long been focused on Iran, even before the Yemen war. Satellite images have shown times and times again that they have their Dongfeng missiles pointing towards Tehran since at least a decade ago.

Iran made 1979 revolution focus on destroying Saudi Arabia, Saudi's are simply fighting back.

They weren't on their own. They formed a coalition and even to this date, they call it a coalition. A coalition that in reality didn't last long and collapsed because people realized that it had reached a stalemate. They have had and continue to have direct military support from the US, France and Israel in Yemen.

Coalition was for symbolic reasons as KSA knew this time around Iran was moving its Houthi card. They were not expecting anything from them on operational level.

You are a liar, they receive no military support from France, Israel or US. They purchase weapons from US and plays no role after that.

They officially requested Pakistan for military support in Yemen. Pakistan initially accepted to join them until the Pakistani parliament voted against military intervention in Yemen and favored neutrality. Even the leadership of the coalition was supposed to be by a Pakistani general. Oman initially accepted it too, but then when Iran talked them out of it citing excellent relations between our countries for decades, they preferred to stay away.

Fake news, Pakistan gave diplomatic support to Saudi's national security and nothing more. They did not request military assistance from them.

Your country Iran on other hand requested Russian and US led coalition intervention in Iraq and Syria to fight an insurgency.

Iran's influence in Iraq has nothing to do with people like Abdul Mahdi and you know it well. He was never a main Iranian asset. The idea of Abdul Mahdi resigning was in fact proposed and supported by Iran. Not the other way around. Any Iraqi Prime Minister will be pressured by Iranian allies in Iraq to act in line with them and they have the means to do that.

Again lying, he was a very valuable ally to you and Iraqi people overthrew him. Iran had to send its militias out to murder Iraqi protesters in an attempt to quell the revolution. It will not work, however, and protests will resume.

LOL. Now that you have changed your method to direct accusations against me and refuting well-supported facts I have no interest in continuing this discussion with you.

I remember how people like you were happy when Syria was about to fall in 2010. Thinking that you're great chess players. 10 years after that, we all see how things are in the region. Wait for another 10 years and we will have a similar discussion then. OK?

And If I were you, I would spend my energy on the idea of Israel invading the West Bank soon. Your country can't stay neutral to that if you guys are rational. But again, up to you.

And this is the end of our discussion for now. See you later.

Lol, why start a debate with me if you will cower your way out? You should ask yourself why it's so easy for me to break down your anti-Saudi perspective, it is because it is based off of delusions and lies.

I literally crushed you on this topic, proving that the country you have pledged loyalty to is a total failure in the region. I think whatever was necessary to be said was said and the truths are well known.

And I think discussing things with a dishonest person like you is a waste of time. So, I prefer to leave it at it and let time tell who was right and who was wrong. See you around.

You crushed your own brain into defeat. All your posts are rhetoric ridden and generic. They usually don't involve any facts. Which is why its easy to break them down. I, unlike you, acknowledge realities on the ground, and am not blinded by some grudge against anyone.

I don't think he has a bad intent, brother, but I didn't quite understand his post.
He's obviously confused, he can't state what facts he experience and see, which would deny what he's been taught.
As you can see subject matter is pure propaganda BS and we have already many paddlers of it.

An Iran - Saudi Arabia rapprochement will be in the interest of the entire globe, not just the region. Many obstacles are in place, so people should not expect a miraculous change. Having said that, what matters is starting to move in the right direction. Also keep in mind, we do not always have to solve our problems, but manage them. The reality is, Iran and Saudi Arabia are the two most influential nations in that region. By working together, they (and everyone else) can prosper much more than they ever could individually. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

I would love to see arabs like they were before and like some of my real life friends. They are true honest caring and would take their shirt of their back to help another muslim. Sadly I see many many who are not like this. So I make dua that Allah guide not just them but me as well as all muslims to the straight path. Ameen

The reason Qassem Soleimani was in Baghdad shows how complex the Iran crisis is

Iraq’s prime minister revealed that he was due to be meeting the Iranian commander to discuss moves being made to ease the confrontation between Shia Iran and Sunni Saudi Arabia – the crux of so much of strife in the Middle East and beyond.

US oil companies are going bankrupt. Trump was pumping his chest constantly bragging about how the US had become "energy independent".. its going down the toilet, and they are panicking.

first order of business is to sacrifice a dumb vassal. They have essentially removed their protection and given the houthi's and Iran a green light to attack Saudi energy infastracture at will..

Even MBS is starting to smell the coffee and take in words of wisdom from his Iranian elders who constantly warned him that security cannot be bought.

I actually think the Saudis are scared, and are genuinely seeking détente. Their oil revenues are gone, Their pilgrim revenues are gone, They just scrapped living allowance for government empoyees and increased VAT to 15%. They are bleeding money and are in serious trouble.

They could save billions of euros if they stop spending on arms.

that's asking for a palace coup... there are tens of thousands of hungry "princes" lined up to suck off their CIA handlers to take MBS' thrown....

Saudi weapons purchases are de facto bribes to american weapons industry... they serve little purpose beyond that since they contribute almost nothing to Saudi security.

They are paying for US weapons, but thats not what they are buying. Saudis wont last more than a week, probably even less, in a direct military conflict. A strong Saudi military means that the thousands of Kings and Princes would risk losing everything they have in a possible coup d etat. Why go through that risk? They rely 100% on American intervention, and that is what they are really buying.
