"The TF21 was unveiled on Tuesday in a ceremony attended by government officials and senior IKCO managers in the company’s headquarters in western Tehran.

IKCO’s CEO Mehdi Khatibi said the TF21 is equipped with a 16-valve 110-horsepower TU5P engine, adding that the hatchback will be available in 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.

Khatibi said the IKCO plans to manufacture 100,000 units of the TF21 in the first year of production starting September 2023."

Last data I saw about auto industry was some thing like 89% of in-house components including two engines. All that info is in this Auto thread..

The only segment of industry that Iran is lagging is semiconductor fabrication of advanced ICs...They can do the design and have done it before ( but for commercial application they use foreign Fab lines...Military fabrication is a big ????

Iranian gas Turbines that are used in your Basra power plant (Rumaila) tells you about Iranian Alloy capabilities..
