You don't give minority appeasement as an option, too bad, but secularism is something that makes the country slightly livable.

I think the Indian Army has scared most of the states enough to think against seceding, and Hindutva has never been strong enough to count for anything. By elimination, left-wing terror. Not that I fully disagree with those dudes.

The biggest problem to our country are the scores of @$$holes that try to jump the line instead of wait for their turn.
1) Ego of babus, police, politicians
2) Lack of empathy with fellow countrymen or even human beings
3) Ignoring basic courtesy a being arrogant (maybe same as above point)
4) Divisions based on religion, caste, language, choice of food.
