Lets compare the progress of each province as well as the Federal Government after the completion of First year in the cabinet. Come on supporters of PTI, PML-N, PPP and other parties show at least 10 or 20 key achievements of your party which you managed to do in the last 1 year after the General elections

Be precise in your post, tell us the biggest achievements of your government in each province and how satisfied you are with the current performance. You can also highlight 10 biggest disappointments from your party, but please don't go negative. Just highlights the biggest achievements/disappointments from your affiliated party after the completion of first year in the government.

Please keep Sindh out of this debate. Like seriously Sindh and PPP has nothing to show unlike other provinces which have something to show in their provinces. The best Sindh govt has done is that Sindh festival and I don't think people would take a stupid festival as an achievement.

I've heard something on all levels except Balochistan and Sindh.
No doubt Sindh will be left far behind, thanks to the rulers.

Education ranking per districts. 2014

The overall performance of AJK, FATA and KP has declined
since last year, although this decline is minor (less than 2%).

So last week report in urdu had nothing to do with literacy rate. Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab have improved their rankings.

Visible development in Punjab by infra projects but if we consider Educational reform's by initiating projects such as tameer e school followed by complete english medium from basic level in public school, health reform's and massive polio drives PTI has done incredibly better

On Top of that i will end this with the revenue collection of all the provinces

KP tops in revenues collection, spending in first half of FY14

KARACHI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province remained efficient in hold back its revenues more than double after expenditures in the first half of financial year 2013-14 (1H FY14).

According to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)’s second quarterly report 2013-14, quoting Ministry of Finance it showed KP government’s overall revenues after spending stood at Rs 32.8 billion in the first half of 2013-14 as against Rs 11.9 billion in the corresponding period of previous financial year.

Province-wise report shows Balochistan government revenues after expenditure stood at Rs 34 billion in 1H FY14 as compared to Rs 18.5 billion registered in the same period of previous fiscal year.

The revenues of Sindh government stood at Rs 44 billion in 1H FY14 as against Rs 45.6 billion registered in the same period last financial year. Whereas revenues after expenditure maintained by Punjab government stood at Rs 53.9 billion in 1H FY14 as against Rs 66.4 billion of previous financial year.

The overall revenues stood after expenditure of four provinces stood at Rs 164.7 billion in 1H FY14 as against Rs 142.3 billion in 1H FY13, showing a growth of 15.7 percent year-on-year (YoY) bases.

The overall revenues collected by four provinces stood at Rs 800.1 billion in 1H FY14 against Rs 740.9 billion in FY13. On the other hand, the expenditure of four provinces stood at Rs 635.4 billion in 1H FY14 as compared to Rs 598.6 billion in 1H FY13.
The consolidated financial position of the provinces has been improving since the devolution of powers to collect sales tax (ST) on services. In FY12, Sindh started ST collection followed by Punjab in FY13 and KP in FY14, SBP report said.

Resultantly, the consolidated provincial surplus has grown significantly from FY12 onwards. During H1 FY14, following an increase in federal transfers and a 23.9 percent increase in tax collections, provincial surpluses posted a 15.8 percent growth over the same period last year.

Notwithstanding, this increase, the expenditure side is a bit disconcerting due to a 23.3 percent YoY decline in the development expenditures. This can improve as the year progresses and the impact of last year’s election related spending wears off.

In terms of individual performances, Punjab posted the largest growth in expenditures with Rs 295 billion, followed by Sindh with spending stood at Rs 186 billion during H1 FY14 compared to the same period last year.

I would like to point out few more things about this thread. Lets be fair, Punjab's budget was around 900 billion rupees in comparison to 344 billion rupees for K-P, 617 billion rupees for Sindh and 200 billion rupees for Balochistan.

Now the key point is if KP vs Punjab's budget is like 1/3. So if 3 projects can be started in Punjab it's 1 for K-P. So K-P will get some relief in this regard.

Besides that I wouldn't want anybody to use the diplomatic terms such as "education reforms, tax reforms, security reforms" or anything like that. Please explain what reforms exactly were made and what are the benefits of such reforms and if there was any project when is it due to be completed and how effective is it going to be. I think I am clear enough in my statement so you must have understood the bottom line.

I don't know why, but I cannot edit my previous post in this thread, so I am gonna make a new post here about KPK.

No doubt this is the best post in this thread so far, very detailed

I see encouraging efforts were made in Justice, Security, Health and Education sector. That's the most important issue of KPK so good to see that. The energy news you have mentioned, 95% of these news/outcome is the work of previous Government (PPP / ANP) and the current federal Government.

It is good to know that KPK plans to build 365 small hydro projects in the next 10 years generating 25,760MW of electricity with 80% of internal funding as you claimed, but it cannot be true because it would require at least 55 - 70 billion dollars to fulfil this dream and the total budget of KPK for the next 10 years combined may not be as much. They definitely need loans or assistance from the Federal Government who would also take loan on their behalf.

The building of shaukat khanum in peshawar. I believe that all of of the capitals and then big cities should have cancer hospitals and shaukat khanum is the only feasible option since the others havent even thought abt a hospital where state of the art medical assistance can be given for free to people. Not even close to it.

The tameer-e-school program. Its a great way to finance education in KPK as no matter what kind of budget you have you just cant focus it on building and maintaining schools all over the province since a good portion gets eaten by running govt colleges and universities. This will allow some more financial backing especially from rich donors both from the country and from outside the country which can be used to focus on increasing educational standards all over KPK.

The kicking out of QWP minister on the bases of Fake degree. First time in our history has somebody done that and IK needed all the alliance he could have gotten but he still stuck by his principles broke the alliance. It was a very good step.

The building of internal city transit system. This is a great step as all of our major cities need a mass transit system for the better transportation of the people. I hope that with it he would start a subway build too. We need such infra-developments and its a very very good step.

These three top it for me amongst all of the work he has done past year. It has only been a year so we cant expect soo much. Most of them will be projects that were just inaugurated or are being planned. It will become even more clearer as he enters his fourth year of govt.
