LAHORE: Punjab government has decided to make Higher Education Commission in the province as on the line of centrally based HEC.
A meeting was held in the chair of Chief Minister Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif which comprised of senior officials.
The meeting considered initiatives for the promotion of higher education in the youth of the province.
On the occasion the CM said all the necessary resources will be provided to raise the standard of education in the universities of the province.
In this regard state-of-the-art Information Technology University will be established in Knowledge Park.
In the meeting, he instructed the concerned authorities to make comprehensive plan to wipe out scare of PHD scholars in the universities.
