What's new

China's nuclear arsenal is one of the most advanced in the world

I don't knowledge was a limiting factor but resources in terms of cash was a restricting and crucial factor.

Knowledge? I don't think india knowledge and infrastructure will allows RE most of the modern equipment. I don't think Indian military like the often renegotiate of new contract with big jump in price per unit. But what choice do you have?

And what is the Basis of this intresting assesment??

What is the basis assessment that india has the knowledge and infrastructure to support such venture? In fact, your username remind me of something which I can easily prove my assessment of India.

This is a very interesting banner written in a monitoring room in Jiuquan satellite launch site. It was a phrase from Mao Zedong: "We absolutely have to catch up and surpass the world's most advanced level in the near future".

Well, after huge efforts, China has reached that level:cry:, and now we will start to surpass!!

Long live to China!! :china:

This old pic of a DF-4 was taken during Cultural Revolution, and also reports an interesting phrase:

The writing is "打倒美帝" ("destroy the american imperialism")

Long live to the old glorious DF-4 and long live to the Second Artillery Corps!!

The DF-4 can only reach 7000-8000km, thus it can only hit USSR rather than USA.

The writing of "打倒苏修" ("destroy the Soviet Revisionism") is more appropriate in my opinion.

While the DF-5 was definitely reserved for USA.

No, you have misunderstood. It means the targets of the american imperialism, not the continental america itself. In fact DF-4 can, for example, reach Guam, Japan, and all other us bases in Asia.

But in reality the DF-4 was used to nuclear bundle USSR, if China got nuked by USA, then China would nuke USSR, so USSR will destroy the entire world with its massive nuclear arsenal.

China is still very behind as compared to US tech and Russian tech. They are in different world of this technology, don't know how many experiments they did with it and how much they developed. China has still long way to go.

What do you mean?

China has catches up, and is 3rd strongest nuclear power. Anyway, the latest Dongfeng missile series are more advanced than the Agni missile series.

And, China has developed powerful, thermonuclear warheads. How about India?

US probably but we are not too far off. As for Russian, they are already lacking behind some of our defence sector like ship building , UAV and aircraft design. Although they might still retain edge like aero engines and submarine and nuclear reactor. Even in terms of rocket, there is too many stagnant development of Russian. With our CZ-5 debut next year. Our rocket industries will go another higher level.

India are so far behind that you cannot even see where they are.

Russia's solid fuel ICBM has excellent maneuverability to overcome the US missile defence system, but its range and payload were quite lousy.

Bulava is only 36 tons, which is too small compared to the 60 tons class ICBMs such as Trident II and DF-31A/JL-2.

How many aircraft has china developed? How many are operational? How many are either copies or use forign technology? What are the capabilities of Chinese aircraft?

You must be having some sour grapes. J-10 is operational. J-20 cant possibly be assist by anybody. Or you are naive to think that Sukhoi or Mig will come and help J-20 project? Then why did they produce a crap design like T-50? If you think aircraft tech can just stolen and use on your own design. Your aviation knowledge is no different from those chest thumping keyboard warriors.

It a fact that hard for you to stomach, isn't it?

No one has ever said the J-10 was not operational. You made a claim saying that china has surpassed Russia in aircraft design, bold statement considering china has never built a long range bomber or close air support aircraft, the Wz-10 was designed by kamov and fundamental issues of engines are still a major challenge for china.

And sorry the T-50 beats the living crap out of the SU-30/27 in every conceivable way, yet china continues to produce Flanker knockoffs. Keep in mind if the Flanker has legendary performance and the T-50 is a quantum leap over the Flanker, yet the T-50 is crap? And after all of this China continues to produce flankers...

Long range bomber? Do you think top 5th gen stealth fighter jet is top priority or long range bomber? A top class fighter jet represent the very best of your aeronautic techology and design.

What is one of the main criteria of 5th gen fighter? Stealth...

If you called this the best you can do for a 5th gen fighter. You are absolutely a failure.

This is what I called top notch aircraft 5th gen fighter design with heavy RCS reduction and finishing.

I tell you what, T-50 will be a big light bulb under the radar  Forget about the stealth...
