Pakistani military sources say foreign fighters, including 33 Uzbeks and three Germans, were among at least 40 people killed in Tuesday's attack on suspected militant hideouts near the Afghan border.

Military sources said Wednesday that several terrorist commanders are believed to be among those killed in North Waziristan.

The military says all the victims were militants, but local sources say civilians are among the dead. Scores of local villagers fled after they were caught between the militants and government forces.

The airstrikes come after the Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for a blast that killed 26 soldiers two days ago.

Germans, Uzbeks Among Militants Killed in Pakistan

I feel Pakistan should strongly take up this matter with Germany and Uzbekistan . When one Pakistani is involved even remotely in any such activity the whole nation is accused and here we are just giving all these nations clean chit ?

The issue will be the availability of proof of the nationality of the killed terrorists.. If they are carrying some defensible identity proof, then yes, Pakistan can take this up with the above mentioned countries..

Uzbek can be Afghan national as well.....

German national, seems a German Pakistani with German citizenship.

Isnt this the same area where USA used to keep pressuring Pakistan about presence of Afghan groups like Haqquanis etc.. In which case presence of foreigners should not be a surprise..

It is roughly the same area though away from actual haqqani's area .

The answer is simple! 'Non State Actors', a term used by Pakistan itself to wriggle out of any situation that may have been sponsored by the State.

Uzbekistan and Germany would similarly turn around and say they have nothing to do with these non state actors!
And that is why it is pointless for Pakistan to question German and Uzbek ambassadors about their citizens involvement!!

QED!

I dont think that would be the case as in that case Govt wouldnt have called them germans. Presence of american, indian and certain european nationals, along with afghans and thugs from central asian states in pakistan , pursuing number of different tasks towards the same agenda of spreading anarchy and chaos in Pakistan in an attempt to label this very strategically located country a failed state and divide it to secure their combined goals in the region, is a fact very well known and accepted by all international military and intelligence circles .

Yeah they can be but presence of hundreds of original uzbeks from afghanistan-uzbekistan border area is a widely accepted fact. Infact uzbeks are the one's which can undertake audacious attacks against security forces provided they are paid handsomely.

Haqannis are not here its safest hideout of TTP nd Haqannis have already enough presence in Afghanistan US should probably clean 4-5 districts controlled by Haqqanis in Afghanistan.
Yeah many foreigners are there.
Haqqanis presence in this area with TTP is unprobable they don't have good terms with TTP…

Such militants are always referred with their citizenship, not by their country of origin from middle East or Pakistan.

Pakistan should deport any foreign national overstaying on their land. I mean there should be strict mechanisms for finding those who overstay.

The sentiment is appreciated.

But can you complain of a theft when you sleep with open doors ?

Also , there is good chance half the world will then take up ' equally strongly' the presence of ' non state actors ' on their soil.

for that one needs a strong economy , we have shitty one

It's not economy that is the issue, it is credibility.

Since almost every terrorist attack in the world is linked to Pakistan, and every ambitious terrorist goes to Pak for higher studies, Pakistan has zero credibility in questioning other countries about terrorism. It would be like Somalia questioning the role of Germans in piracy, or North Korea questioning America's democratic credentials.

Every foreign terrorist is overlooked and passed on to Pakistan by the world so the world has zero credibility itself.
