England’s Monarchy is the second oldest, dating back to the Middle Ages. Its home is Buckingham Palace. The changing of the guards for the reigning monarchy has always been a colorful event that is full of ceremony that has been maintained over the ages.

Back in 1953, after the creation of Pakistan in 1947, a contingent of Pakistani soldiers took over guard duty at Buckingham Palace for the Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation that took place on June 2 of 1953. The Changing of the guard ceremony took place prior to that.

A young Pakistani Army was since then classified as capable and strong because such a responsibility fell on their soldier on such a big day for English Royalty.

Did you even know that Pakistani Soldiers had ever been a part of the Changing The Guard Ceremony at Buckingham Palace and especially on such an occasion?

One thing is for sure. Pakistan NEVER fought for independence, it was a gift by british empire to westernized muslim elites to enslave majority of sub continent muslims. We label Saudi royal faimly for being american puppets or Afghan government for being Indian puppets yet we forget to look at our self because we live in denial!
Not saying India snatched their land from the jaws of mighty brits infact they were also part of British empire exit strategy!
What pakistan needs to work on is kick out every single dirty brit systems that were left over for us to consume!

we werent a republic in '53. we were still a dominion of the Empire back then. the army was Royal Pakistan Army, the navy was Royal Pakistan Navy, same case with the air force.

And Queen Elizabeth II was still the head of state of Pakistan

Yes but these soldiers are part of the commonwealth contingent planned by UK. There is different between guest march pass and guards of coronation for queen.

Unfortunately Pakistan didn't have much of a choice back then . If it was done after complete independence then I likewise would have found it unacceptable

well pakistan was a dominion and had not adopted a constituition to become a republic, so the queen and the king before her were head of state whil governor general was like a representative or some independent "governor".
