F-16 is still on the offer Janab. In fact most latest version is on full offer and with some diplomacy they can agree to sell the on full price and don't demand the other thing. In fact they also are about send 40 MRAP which we ordered and few more stuff. Even more M4 were given recently

They are on offer Janab. They are totally on offer. PAF is not picking them for other reasons not that they are not on offer. Only thing which has changed is we have to pay full price

it won't make much of a difference , PA already Signed contract for 30 T-129's , even if AH-Z1 were stopped PA can just add another follow up order for additional T-129's or get 20 Z-10 from China .

Halting all sales from US is not gonna make that much a difference anyways. our share of US weapons sale is not that much to force any change in US policies. anyway, let's see further what happens. The delivery has not been called off yet, this might just be a delay.

US Gov is all about announcements. There is no announcement on the aircraft being withheld. The export license is valid, and FMF is from yesteryear and paid for already. This speculation stems from temporary storage solicitation on the web. The storage could be for one of many reasons, one being unavailability of transport aircraft for airlift to Pakistan. Such things happen in this business, and there should be no reason for alarm.

If or when the US decides to hold the aircraft, already paid for and under current export regime, they would make an announcement. It usually takes an all outright arms embargo for such announcements. This should clarify the situation to most readers.

In my opinion, as carrot and stick goes, this is business as usual and Pakistan and USA wrangle in the Afghan issue, give and take favours, and position themselves for the fallout.

Pakistan is not willing to go Direct Commercial Contract (DCS) or National Funds for the US purchases, as they want the US government to pay for it (FMF) or buy at USG rate (FMS). This is where the anti-Pakistan lobby in US Congress has effectively put a stop to this affair. Till the next engagement of USG Afghanistan, we have to sit tight and wait for the coffers to open again for the "friends" to become friendly again.
