Now can these words be translated to any other language----.

OK lets call Allah as Bhagwan,Namaz as Puja,Haj as Yatera,Rozah as Bert,Tasbeeh as Mala,Duaa as Bintee,Darood as Raam Raam etc etc etc...obviouly the benefits of secularism are not only limitless,there is no end line.

Not everyone used Muhammadan or Muhammadanism to describe Muslim and Islam as a derogatory term, rather because of their ignorance regarding the Muslim world. Read all references on Islam and Muslims before WW2 and you will rarely find 'Muslim' in European vocabulary.

This was probably round 1. Round 2 will be all non-Arabic terminology be removed i.e. khudahafiz to namaz, peghamber, khuda etc.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday approved a summary prohibiting the English translation of Islamic terms, which means that the word “masjid” cannot be substituted with the English word “mosque”.

Sacred Arabic names and words like Allah, masjid, sala’at and Rasool are now forbidden to be translated in English as God, mosque, prayer and prophet, respectively, as per the summary approved by the Prime Minister. Religious scholars have appreciated the government’s move and stressed the need to implement the decision.

Prominent cleric Mufti Naeem said that the decision is commendable but it should be enforced in letter and spirit. He lauded the Prime Minister for taking the decision in the holy month of Ramzan.

Mufti Muneebur Rehman also lauded the move, saying some religious terms and names are best described in Arabic and they couldn’t be translated in English.

I think he took this decision by after being inspired from Shree Narendra Modi jee's vision of pure India. Persian don't know how to pronounce thaad, It is not zaad! And as for Islamic month, you have to pronounce it as it's in the Quran.

I know Persian can't pronounce it properly, but as Al-Bakistanies can pronounce it properly shouldn't they change names from Ramzan to Ramadan?
