What's new

MBS visit to the US will last 2 weeks

I really don't understand these guys, they talk about how they "hate" the Christian west and how we are the epitome of evil and hedonism, yet given the chance, their "leaders" can't wait to cozy up to the west and their citizens are clamoring over each other to get to our shores and adopt our evil "western"ways. It's a MAD, MAD world I tells ya!
I think some of them are abit confused. They admire our living standards, development, rule of law, technological advancement, good governance, stable democratic system etc and would love to achieve all this, but at the same time they despise our dominance of world affairs. So it's a tricky one(which is understandable).

At the end of the day, they are like all human beings, humans always seek a better life for them and their family, religion (and everything else) comes second(except for Islamic fanatics Al Qaeda types who are ready to forgo their family/comfort and even die on the spot for their religious cause ).

So it's normal that many in the region are ready to risk it all to emigrate to non Islamic kafir land of Europe, U. S, AUSTRALIA etc . Normal human instincts to seek for greener pastures :).
However, you shouldn't take what many say on here too seriously. Most of the times, it's just comments with no real substance, and a way of feeling better by letting others know their country is fighting only for the 'sake of Islam' and for weak muslim countries. Its a question of ego and feel good as well. At the end of the day we all know that's nonsense, each country in the region is looking after their own interests and cooperates with the 'evil West when it suits them.

Beautifully said!

Problem with the West is that along with them their proxy scums are getting even more dumber!!! Anyway, their days are highly numbered. The 100 years old curse being slowly lifted as the Muslims in the region are progressively returning to their senses. Afrin etc. are just the beginning!!!! No Firauns, Nemruts, Ebu Jahils, Ebu Lahaps, Sherif Husseins, Mujibs etc. are enough to stop this Sefer for it's all per the DESIGN....
Among the proxies, where does Turkey fit?

Can someone ban this majoos troll mohammed45 it is even Haram to call him mohammad
JKangoroo, you are sounding like the eternal student..:rofl::rofl:, are you?

I don't see Christianity mentioned in his post, he is likely a secular Turk born in US and naturally admires his country of origin. That country having alliances with numerous powerful nations in the West. They have differences in regards to Syria. Other than that, it's just middle eastern politics, making that the West is out to undermine you seems to be common political ploy among Middle Easterners. In reality most that way are actually secular nationalists. So I don't see why you drag Christianity into it.

I think some of them are abit confused. When you go on a tangent about 'them' it suggests you who are ranting about something else which is off topic. There was one member in this thread who you should have addressed and end it there. Look above in my response to Wolf. Also you are aware many modern nations are relatively developed and technologically advanced, aren't you? That is not exclusive to the West. As for Middle easterners, its common sense they would prefer to dominate their own region rather than others. And like in Europe where not too long there huge divisions leading to numerous wars and two world wars, different nationalities are competing over dominance among themselves too. So we can agree the world is not black and white. For the most part US/Europe's policies are positive for the people of the Middle East, with obvious exceptions being the I/P conflict and Iraq war. Besides those blunders you are right it would be hypocritical of people from that background to suggest they are in conflict with the West. It only does a disservice to their own people, whom they utilize that ploy against. And religion rarely plays a role. Most people you talk to are secular.

You should also understand those people had great civilizations at a time, preceding yours. You should also understand that you are British and not American. The American society is different and people coexist here well. America has its interests in Europe and we are not 100% with you guys in Europe. We take upon us the brunt of the effort to counter Russian influence there. So yeah, seems like you need some reality checks man.

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, confirmed that US President Donald Trump's decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem was "painful".

In his interview with the Washington Post, the Crown Prince stressed that Islam is rational and simple and some are trying to kidnap it, declaring that the kingdom owns 5% of the world's uranium reserves, and not using it, is like not using our oil..

"We do not use Kuchner to promote the kingdom in the United States," he said.

You should avoid such language mate. Our political differences apart. Poor MBS is doing what he thinks is good for his country and survival though we know that he is mistaken and will pay for it in his life and hereafter.
Sorry?

MBS is a visionary leader, and he will propel Saudi Arabia to new heights of prosperity in the near future - a reality that Saudi-bashers are finding impossible to stomach.
