Are there any plans for local production of air-frame fuselage, Wing spars, Wings assembly, Nose cone, Main Landing gear units, Nose landing gear, if yes any time-frame associated for technology/capacity transfer as Plaaf doesn't use JF17, it would make more sense to transfer manufacturing facilities to PAC...

Well it seems to be the prototype of the Blk-II and they have provided the first roll out date of Blk-II in June 2014, meaning that there is yet some testing and evaluation to be done before it goes into production.Also in Blue notice the Dummy round of SD-10. Some serious phase JF-17 has entered.

And also suggests that all Blk-Is would be gradually get the upgrade as Blk-IIs start entering.

The number on aircraft is 13-150 which means 49 block 1 are operational as one was lost.

This IFR probe attachment may not be final version of it, it looks creepy sticking out.


hmmm, root tilt looks to be an attempt to keep the probe streamlined with cockpit height to reduce signature..
