Looks like NOTAM issued for March 1st to 3rd in Semnan. missile firing will take place as stated. Probably offensive rather than Air defensive.

Or possible space launch

This is interesting...

Another interesting thing is that there looks to be a mk2 version of the thermobaric warhead equipped dehlavieh.
We can see that the 2021 dated examples are labeled -2 instead of the -1 of the earlier 2018 models,a more powerful warhead perhaps?.

So it is confirmed that Iran has a ASBM with a 1500km range which can target moving targets and reenters the atmosphere at a speed of mach 8 (impact speed probably much less).

Interestingly, Hajizadeh etc have claimed for a while that Iran is able to target ships within a 2000km range, instead of 1500km. I guess that relates to drones rather than ASBMs.

It is still not clear how Iran monitors and tracks targets at a 1500km range in order for the missile to impact at the target's launch + 5-10 mins location.

I am not able to upload images but a 1500km range ASBM launched from south Iran and west Iran would cover all of the Persian Gulf, Gulf of Oman, reach deep into the Arabian Sea (well beyond Oman), cover large parts of the Red Sea and reach into the Mediterranean Sea. Not only pushing the US fleet far out into the Arabian Sea but also theoretically capable of targeting the Israeli surface fleet if necessary.

If targets are ships, then mostly with OTH-Radar. Or the new radar they build at the cost of Iran and what follow the curve of the ocean, dont know the name at the moment. Or with drones what send the position back and then the missile came in and do a image check from the high and then take course on the identified ships in this area. Or instead of image check the drone there also give laser on target and missile follows laser.

OTH radars cannot track a moving target's location at 1500km range with sufficient precision to guide a ASBM. A drone would have to travel 1500km from Iran first, get close enough to the target and stay there watching it until the missile impacts. Quite unrealistic.
