Iran Kowsar Jet Surprise (production line)

how is the F-5F / Kowsar's muzzle structured, the cannon (30mm?) can not be moved into the belly of the fuselage because it would risk to hit it when it shoots, but it could be installed on the underside of the fuselage, on the type of Chengdu J-7M / F-7M, with part of the cannon and ammunition housed in a portion of the internal fuselage vacated by the elimination of the second pilot
here's how it might seem

Thats a really great idea and by moving the gun/guns further back it makes yet more use of the additional space thats been gained in the stretched airframe, with the possibility or option of increasing the ammo load for the gun,as well as gaining quite a bit of space and weight in the nose too for the installation of a new larger/heavier radar.

Fakour 90 has its own targeting system outside of the aircrafts radar. So F-5 Radar can guide the target initially before its own on board system takes over.
If you mean its own active radar, thats only a short ranged system with probably no more than around 20km+ range at best, this was why you needed a powerful long range radar like the awg9 to really use a missile like this effectively. In addition the weight of the fakour despite being lighter than the aim54 is still a very heavy weapon weighing probably around 400kgs minimum,by comparison 2 r77s and 2 r60s would probably weigh only around 10% more, and of course having something that big and heavy hanging off the plane isnt going to do wonders for its speed and maneuverability either.
Light fighters just dont use heavy weight a2a missiles, they just arent designed for it.
The only a2a loadout that makes sense for a fighter like this is a 2+2[2 r77s + 2 r73s] or 2+2+2[2 r77s + 2 r73s + 2 r60s] and frankly thats about it.Of course iran will still have to acquire a few things like a modern radar and the r77 tho neither of these should be too huge a problem.

F5 radar must detect the target first as you can't fire missile and hope it detect enemy fighters

last photoshop with lateral cannon (1x30 mm ?), R-77, R-73, Fatter / Sidewinder,

Yes,by ditching the 2 20mm m39s you`re saving around 160kg in weight and even if you replace them with 1 30mm gsh-30-1 you`re still saving around 110kgs,not to mention all the extra space in the nose for an improved radar

You can easily see how much extra potential space there is to be gained from these pics

Heres a pic of the size differences between the guns

The only potential problem might be the large muzzle flash produced by the cannon

So again, this notion of F-5 as A2A fighter jet is absurd. It will likely face F-22/F-35 before it will even seen a F-16. Even against a F-16/F-18 it will be a major underdog.

You are basically sending the pilot to his death.

The F-5 might not be any good for air to air combat , but it is more than capable of dropping barrel bombs on Iranian citizens , same as Assad is doing in Syria.

The main purpose of weapons held by dictatorships like Iran , is to keep its own population in bay , rather than defence of outside enemies ...

Can you tell about Israeli ability to fight with Hamas and Hezbollah at same time without American help?

Ask only 1 Question yourself "Can you die for Israel country?

Yeah especially long/medium range precision missiles that Iran regime has lost count how much they have and giving them away like hot cakes to other oppressive loving countries. I can only imagine how comfortable is to sit 2000 km away from such long/medium range precision barrel bombs raining down on Iranian people from Yemen and Lebanon.

Capabilities against Hamas nothing, but Israel's airforce is pretty capable of dropping WMD bombs on Palestinians.

In realtà una copia illegale di F-5 ........

: Partay:...[/CITAZIONE]

1) the answer you gave yourself.
2) Do you find it easy to do the complete reverse enginereng of a fighter plane without the help of the original builder with the actual projects?

that I remember, projects like this have made them:
1) the Soviets when they copied the B-29, realizing the Tu-4

2) the Chinese, with the Mig-21, when they realized that the projects provided by the Soviets were incomplete, so they started to decode the specimens supplied directly, then continuing with other models co ol ol-15, clokne of the SU-27 , and J-15 clone of the Su-33.

3) the Israelis, when they cloned the Mirage realizing the Kfir, even if in some way they had come into possession of the original construction plans.

all these three nations had and have enormous spending capacities, history in aeronautical constructions, national research and planning groups and eventually helped by foreign friends.

therefore I would leave on one side the face that was posted, and despite all the legitimate criticism of the kowsar project, born from the F-5 that certainly is not a last generation aircraft, we should instead have respect and congratulate the enormous work done by Iranian technicians and engineers, also considering the international situation in which they had to operate.
All this just to evaluate a technically the work, leaving aside for once our sympathies or dislikes towards those who currently managed the country
