That's been the history of Islam, outnumbered since ages, first against the Hindu's (idol worshippers) of Makkah. Also the Mushrikeen were much richer than Muslims back than had more horses and swords. Wealth and extravagance has never been seen as a thing of pride in Islam. Lastly, for more than 5 decades after independence Pakistan outperformed India in every thing you mentioned. Times can change.

Our economy has been hampered because of the WOT since 2001. We have had a war imposed on us by the americans and we have been fighting to stop ourselves from being destroyed like the Iraqis and Afghans. We have successfully fulfilled this objective and can now get back to focusing on our economy. Nearly 18 years after this all began.

There are only 2 global superpowers in the world. Pakistan is so irrelevant that one of those global superpowers have invested in at least $61 billion in Pakistan with many more billions earmarked for further investments in the coming years and decades. The other global superpower is always having to deal with and talk about us. Not bad for a nation that come from nothing and had millions killed by the sikhs nearly 70 years ago......

Pakistan is so irrelevant that it's main enemy who is more than 7x bigger than it and has abundant access to the world's most advanced weapons systems whilst we are denied this privilege remains far too weak, powerless and unable to fight or do anything to us.......

That's the point, the unrest and terrorism in Pakistan is MASSIVELY down compared to 2010-2014. Which is why there is huge billions worth of investment in Pakistan from China. The ground reality in Pakistan is that Pakistan is being transformed into a nation that many deemed impossible just 3 years ago.
