Featured India conveys strong protest to Saudia Arabia for removing Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh from Indian map on special G20 banknote

We also wonder as why super duper India with claims of approaching Trillion dollar economy and hundred of billions stacked away in the treasury....why does it resort to sending beggars to Muslim countries.
Beggars? Woah you see migrant workers as beggars. Your country depends on these 'beggars' windy.
Any more tools like this?
Pakistan’s always asked for a plebiscite
Looks like Al Sauds decided for you. But stay quiet, don't insult Saudis.

What Pakistan depends on Indian beggars . :woot:
If you are talking about Pakistani migrant workers then they are not the ones reported for begging in KSA.

India has communicated its "serious concern" to Saudi Arabia over "incorrect depiction of India's external territorial boundaries" in a banknote issued recently by the middle-eastern country, the External Affairs ministry said today.
The note, issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority on October 24 to mark the occasion of Saudi presidency of the G20, omitted Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from India in a world map, said the Ministry of External Affairs in a press briefing.
The note depicted Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as separate territory, distorting the Indian map, which many also perceived a major Saudi diplomatic snub to Pakistan.

"I would like to further reiterate that the entire Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India," the ministry spokesperson said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has tried to strengthen ties with Suadi Arabia in a bid to put pressure on Pakistan, one of the closest allies of the Arab nation. Last year, the Prime Minister also did away with protocols to welcome Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at a New Delhi airport.

this is an irrelevant thread ... saudis has thrown their lot with India. they need markets for what is expected to be declining demand for hydrocarbons

Map shows Kashmir is not a Pakistan's fifth state hence the boundaries.

Kashmir has its own president and prime minister. The shown map just emphasis that. No where it shows Kashmir is an independent country.

Just like Scotland is part of UK but it has separate boundaries in every map (even in google), Kashmir having its own boundaries is fine. Its still part of Pakistan the same way Scotland is part of UK.

There are no evil intentions in the map. If there were, Kashmir would have been been shown in gray, part of india. It is not.

Pakistan and Kashmir are two states joined as one having one army, currency, foreign policy and so on.

None the less any sensible depiction of Kashmir suppose to have a boundary line until we both people jointly decide to dissolve it.

Kashmir having its own president and prime minister, its only fair. Kashmir is not our fifth or sixth state.

In future driven by economic growth, Kashmir might dissolve its separate status and might let go having a separate parliament and president but in the current situation as on the ground today, there is a line and a boundary.

I mean we just absorbed Gilgit-Baltistan since people of Gilgit-Baltistan fiercely demanded that they want to be the fifth province of Pakistan. They even went to the supreme court of Pakistan and won the case in their favor. We had to do it.

Same way, Kashmir might see it more beneficial to be part of the same parliamentarian system as the rest of Pakistan. Then we can have one boundary in every map.

Meantime it is international norm to draw clear boundaries on all those territories that have their own national parliaments. Its a convention that even google map follows. It is followed by the United Nations and even by Pakistan itself.

By this map, its actually India that was humiliated and really really badly so.

It should also be noted that this map recognizes that Aksai Chin is Chinese territory.

Waiting for another PMLN statement so that celebrations can be held early.

Well said... HT was lastly reporting that KSA actually offended Pakistan or favoured India in new bank note. I said it before that be it India or some of our politicians; they do celebrate before time and then embarrasses themselves later. Exactly happened here.

Conveyed our serious concern to Saudi Arabia:

The global map printed on the new 20 Riyal banknote, released to mark Saudi Arabia's presidency of the G20 grouping, does not feature Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh as part of India. (File Photo)

We have seen the banknote referred by you which gives an incorrect depiction of India's external territorial boundaries. The note was issued by Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority on October 24 to mark the occasion of Saudi presidency of the G20,” MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said during the weekly briefing.
