Yes, I have an MSI laptop.Obviously India like any other country should look after its own interests.
That being said, India should try to team up with the Taiwanese company MSI.
That company makes Top Notch motherboards and other computer components.

Ask the administrator to ban this foul-mouthed troll
son of bitchThis is not CCP land
Assemble laptop is not the big deal.
Laptops components are the big deal.
Absolutely, the value retained from manufacturing a sub-product depends on the level of finalization on the product line. For example, the profit margin from selling diodes, or CPUs or display unit will be much lower than selling a completely built PC. Once we get the final assembly units in house, sooner or later the component manufacturers will set up manufacturing units within India to drive down cost and increase their profit margin.
And assembling PCs is not a high tech job, any college dropout with a 3 week of training can do that. This will address our unemployment problem for semi-skilled workforce.
Lol, what's your point? Or are you suggesting India would increase its share in global merchandise trade by imposing a ban on imports?
Productivity of Indian labors is extremely low. India is just not competitive in manufacturing period. Neither is India part of RCEP which means you'll be cut off from the Asian supply chain in due time.
The only way India could gain some sort of global influence is by opening your domestic market to other countries but now your chaiwala pm has even closed that door.
Looks like your leaders also know India's actual place as a perennial third rate middle power despite whatever you people are fed by your godi media.
Chinese garbage lolWhy don't you Join RCEP if you think its such a good deal. Its been more than 20 years since manufacturing moved to China and if all this free market principles worked, many other countries around the world would be manufacturing stuff by now, yet most of the manufacturing in the world takes place in China and has virtually wiped out manufacturing in every part of the world. Central and South America, Africa, Asia, middle east have dozens of poor countries who have no import tariffs or BJP/modi in power and they manufacture **** all, even you Lungis are only manufacturing chaddi.
You Lungis can keep manufacturing chaddi for all I care and feel free to totally eliminate tarrifs and open your markets to Chinese garbage, we won't do the same, we are going to take advantage of our massive population and if some company wants access to our market, they will have to manufacture here or take a hike, more jobs for our people. We are prepared to initially accept lower quality and higher priced Indian made stuff to Chinese stuff. Most countries around the world are re-thinking whether free market policies actually help them and if its wise to just keep importing everything, you chaddi making Lungis should go preach them
Chinese garbage lol
Is this why india has 84 billion dollar trade deficit with China
FY23: India’s Imports From China Up 4.16%, Exports Down 28%, Trade Deficit at $83.2 Billion
Due to plummeting exports, India s bilateral trade with China showed a minor dip of about 1.5% to $113.83 billion in 2022-23 as against $115.42 billion in 2021-22.m.thewire.in
Yawn lolA lot of Chinese imports are used to manufacture products that India exports. Pharmaceutical APIs are a good example. We are targetting finished product imports from China to start with and will slowly encompass these intermediate products as well as manufacturing increases.
In any case, hard to explain it to people of a country that are satisfied with being a chaddi manufacturing superpower. Open your markets and eliminate all tariffs on Chinese products as i said, nothing is stopping you Lungis
Yawn lol
You guys are basically assembling lol
nothing wrong with garments. It’s easy 50
billion dollar by hiring poor unproductive village women.
