BERLIN (AP) — Germany’s domestic intelligence agency is warning consumers that personal data they provide to Chinese payment companies or other tech firms could end up in the hands of China’s government.

In its annual report released Thursday, the BfV [Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz] agency noted that Chinese government offices have access to data stored in China by companies such as Tencent, Alibaba “as well as other apps, web services and mobility providers such as for example (bike sharing) providers” that operate in Germany.

The head of the BfV, Thomas Haldenwang, said German’s data isn’t safe with Chinese companies because they are required by law to provide the data to their government.

“Any customer here in Germany who uses such a system shouldn’t be surprised if this data is abused in Beijing,” he told reporters. “We can only warn against this.”

Germany’s top security official also expressed concern about what he called the “hybrid threat” from China, which included the purchase of key German companies.

“When it comes to critical infrastructure, in the energy supply or now with 5G lines, we have to consider how we can protect ourselves,” said Horst Seehofer, Germany’s interior minister.

Seehofer added that Germany has yet to reach a “political decision” on whether to let Chinese telecoms equipment company Huawei supply infrastructure to German cellphone service providers.

It should be appreciated that the Chinese Communist Party has no respect for the rights of others. Of course they have to be mindful of provoking their own people into some form of revolt, though that is a tremendously unlikely stretch. However, they have zero compunction against using the data of other people for either monetary of political advantage. It is hard for most westerners to imagine a totally amoral government power, but that is what the CCP is.

Well, put that in the no-brainer pile.

when you use IOS,Android,Microsoft System,Therefore, there is no need to give any information to the United States government, because all the information is American.
Europe and Japan have no Internet sovereignty at all.

The Internet is a US military tool, I would not be surprised if there is some master system set up that if you login into the internet, you are immediately tracked by the Pentagon. You are in the umbrella of the US defense department and everything you do is monitored. The internet was invented by those who spy, why not hide that not only your ISP gets your data, the Pentagon gets your data too. Meaning they monitor you even with VPNs, Tor (which was an NSA invention), etc. The Pentagon knows who is on what VPN and any internet traffic is known, there is no way to hide. Because the USA built the system.

Meaning the US gets the entire data of the internet 24/7, even if you are using a VPN. If the VPN does not keep logs, the NSA keeps the logs of your traffic on a VPN. Because you are in their internet, they set up. And never informed you, that you have zero privacy on the internet, they get 100% of the data.

That is my theory. I have been trying to war game a way to defeat such a system, and if you are hiding in multiple layers of VPNs, and proxies, they may have not designed the internet back decades ago, for such hidings.

. .
Can you in the internet find out if you are in a system that designed to monitor you without knowing.

Everybody said (CiA) bitcoin was decentralized, then somebody found a way to create millions of additional bitcoins, then the centralized founders of bitcoins, corrected the error in code, and everybody went back to thinking bitcoins are completely decentralized. Which they are not, there are controllers and founders. And bitcoins track and trace you. Same as the internet. What did the founders of the internet do to keep track of you. Ppl think the internet is decentralized, when there are controllers. Those who started it could still be tinkering with it, as bitcoin was tinkered with to solve a flaw.

Of course!

The NSA has the whole planet bugged. Cell phones, land lines, internet clicks, etc. They have supercomputers with languages skills crunching through phone audio logs and internet data streams

You can't even go outside as one of its many satellites can track you. It's been like this for a long time.

In 2013 the last piece of the puzzle was completed.

With Elon Musk's Starship they'll finally be able to do this

So if there was no internet, and the CCP set up the first internet, founded by the military of China. And the world hooks up to the CCP internet. And then everybody concerned over ISP logs, cisco/windows 8 backdoors, tracking cookies and hackers. Nobody realizes the code that is the CCP internet, which monitors your every move on the internet.

The media today would have you believe the CCP would automatically spy on you if the internet was started by the Chinese military. However, nobody makes a peep about the same setting where the US military developed the internet.

The US gov't could then use ISP logs, cisco backdoors, tracking cookies as cover as the ways they find out about you, when they have grand backdoor, that is the internet, coded by US military.
