The only famous indian sitcom here i know is Ranjid. He is played from Kaya Yanar in "Was guckst du". Ranjid only loves his cow Benita.

I went for an oil change the other day at a quick oil change place, philipino guy there asked me if i was Pakistani I said yes and then he went on to how much he likes Nusrat fateh ali khan and rahat and junoon, then he started playing me some of their songs on his iPod, some Pakistani some indian songs.
