Featured F/A-18 Super Hornet Is Now Undergoing Ski Jump Launch Trials For The Indian Navy

Good for you. Buy Eurofighter and F-15s as well.
We are happy with JF-17s and believe in serving cup of tea and help your pilots conduct premature ejections from cockpits at given times of our choosing no matter how much the adversary day dreams or likes to buy toys

Question is, will India get its jets from US because of S-400?

F-18E first flight 1995. Its design is an evolution of F-18C the same way MiG-29K is developed from MiG-29. There's nothing special about F-18E. It's bigger and that means bigger RCS, a distinctive disadvantage. MiG-29K can be upgraded with Zhuk-AE radar and is in no way inferior to F-18E in terms of capability. There's a reason F-18A/C sold very well but only the US and Australia ever bought F-18E.

You expect Russian Avionics from 2010 to match American avionics package in 2020
The block 3 Superhornet entered service in 2019 and has a far capable EW suite, AESA Radar and and weapons package
Thanks!
So, if IN goes for SH's are we going to get the Block III variant. Also, are we looking at some Growler configs.

Boeing and Pentagon have offered the Block 3 standard only
However Growlers are not part of the deal
Boeing have offered 57 Superhornets for 6 billion USD, while the french have offered 57 Rafale M for 8.5 billion USD
Rafale already has training and maintenence infrastucture in India and navy would be able to share the weapons package with the air force

Not gonna happen. F-18E is expensive and India's economy is weak. It's unlikely India can complete Vikrant before 2030 anyway so F-18E deal is a pipe dream.

It doesnt matter what you do
In the end PAK army will surrender like 1971 or send Imran khan to US to request ceasefire like 1999, while PN will spend all its time trying to safeguard karachi

Both PA and PN will ruin whatever good work PAF does, like they have been doing for decades

India has a 3 trillion Economy and 535 billion USD forex reserves

We can spend the 6 billion USD to buy the 57 F/A18E jets which the Indian navy wants
You are confusing Indian Finances with that of Pakistan
They might be struggling to pay 1 billion USD , we dont

As far as Vikrant is concerned, Its Basin trials are starting in September, and it will be commissioned in 2 years
Thats why we are looking at Naval jets

Vikrant won't be built until 2035 probably considering how slow Indians are at building ships. Besides, with only 3 modern destroyers, Indian navy don't have the necessary destroyers to form 2 carrier groups. To form 2 carrier groups Indian navy needs 6 modern destroyers.

So u actually believe that we are not building support ships

The Great Firewall of China has made even their trolls dense
We are building 4 P15B destroyers which are an improved version of the Kolkata class which you were talking about.
We are also building 7 P17A frigates which are an improvement over the Shivalik class
And are buying 4 Talwar class frigates from Russia
You can use Baidu to find out more about them

Rafale M would be the best option considering commonality with IAF.
SH would be more of a geo-political pick if it is chosen.

India is pissed at Russia supplying RD-93MA engines to JF-17 Block 3. India will certainly pick either Rafale M or F-18E to replace MiG-29K. The drawback with Rafale M is lack of folding wings. The drawback with F-18E is it takes many years to induct considering India has no experience with American jets and F-18E is not compatible with Vikrant, only with India's third carrier which won't be inducted until 2050 at the earliest.

This time
We will make Imran khan Niazi sign the ceasefire agreement while he out of Pak Airspace , so that he is spared the public hanging, which happened to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto after the humiliating surrender of 1971
