Featured F/A-18 Super Hornet Is Now Undergoing Ski Jump Launch Trials For The Indian Navy

You don't manufacture them but you assemble them that is the difference & many parts of military tech come from the civil industry. I gave the example cause the sop of production at a standard are same across every industry and if those sop are followed in civil industry they can also be followed in military industry.
Okay for instance lets us take example of F35 & J20 what is the difference in 2 can you highlight them?

So how do you want to compare both fighters?
Nothing is declare by China as far as J20 is concern. Even no buddy knows the exact engine (russian/Chinese) they are using in final production model (if any) right now.

All off topic posts. Nothing on the f18 being suitable for the IAF or not.
Personally i think aircraft carriers are too costly for India to operate.
India should adopt the Japanese model of smaller helio carriers or vtol carriers for force projection.
Much cheaper.

Reserves are 540 billion dollars the GDP 3 trillion dollars both 5th largest in the world.

Second point India is shopping for a fighter wing of 40 new carrier based fighters for vikrant Indian indengious carriers .

The carrier will have 24- 28 carrier based fighters and the rest on land as rotation reserve.

This is the same in vikramditya 40 mig29 with 12 to 14 on land for rotation reserve.

Hornet is in competition with rafale.
But hornet is cheaper and has the same engine as tejas and with India in quad alliance group with USA and Japan and Australia I expect hornet to win the 6 billion deal soon

So if there is no info how is it a bad fighter jet? My question was that & how can you even compare J20 with F35 that is the first question both are different class of fighter jets.
We are derailing the main topic lets discuss it some where else some time.

F 18 will be deployed in leh because 3rd carrier will be delayed.

Rafales cannot be accommodated in the lifts of the carriers, because of its wing span.

LOL, you are such a troll, Chinese jets are hoax, how about super-duper indian SU30MKI? or Tejas for that matter?
Why are your forces running away from Galwan and not fighting Chinese junk machines? All your two-front war Generals are hiding these days while this maniac is winning all the wars on the indian media

Their so called 5th gen jetd are mere hoax and their fighting men of poor quality. Chinese equipment are known for their poor quality, even pakistanis trust American systems more than their Chinese platforms.

with only one aircraft carrier india not has enough space to accommodate too many fighter jets

We need the jets for INS Vikrant which is undergoing Basin trials at the moment and will be ready by 2022

Vikrant can carry 26-30 Fighters and 9 Helicopters
Our present fleet of 44 Mig29K/Kubs are not enough to equip both carriers

F 18 will be deployed in leh because 3rd carrier will be delayed.

not necessarily
We had 44 Mig29K/kubs out of which Vikramaditya could only accommodate 24 Mig29
Hence the second squadron was deployed in Leh in support of IAF

F/A18 E/F Superhornet has a better chance of winning the Indian navy deal becoz of its Foldable wings which would allow NAVY to deploy 30 of these on INS VIKRANT Compared to 22-24 Rafale M

And yes
If Indian Navy does goes ahead and order 57 Superhornet ,
Then you might see the spare 27-30 aircrafts being deployed with IAF in times of need

This is called Joint Force structure, where assets are shared between forces and deployed where they are most required

How many fighters per squadron?

Why don't you start creating single fighter squadrons to boast up the falling squadrons numbers?

Why don't India get a squadron of F-35's and F-18 or Rafael for the Navy?

The US is willing to sell India F-35's etc maybe India can work out a good deal if they buy from the USA and France?

F-15 EX is also being pitched to India. American companies want in on the opportunity presented by India.
F-18 holds an advantage since Boeing wants a a new set up facility in India and announced its partnership with HAL in 2018.

With F-35 deal, a major objection from USA could be against S-400.

rip as expected, youtube comment section suits you better.

The Indians are never going to go ahead with this deal. This is their old tactic, pretend you want to buy an fighter, get up close and personal with the plane and learn all there is to about it and try to incorporate those the stolen stuff in their own creation. Then 10 years later scrap the deal and if forced, buy 20-30 percent of the original number.

Unfortunate for the Indians ke, Naqal ke liye bhi Akal chahiye hoti hai.

One more defence deal with the Americans and India will lose Russia as a ally or supporter.
