Featured F/A-18 Super Hornet Is Now Undergoing Ski Jump Launch Trials For The Indian Navy

in reality your economy is weak as you are top country from where immigrant migrate to western developed countries as they not find work and better future in india, your reserves are only temporary indicator of economy as your population is much more times bigger than japan, germany and u.s but your reserves are much less as compared to those nations which shows that india is not a strong economy in reality and cannot support expensive military plans for long but if you want to waste all reserves in weapons you will break like ussr in near future
I think our economy is strong enough and we will maintain those carriers. Your assessment is wrong

Dude there is difference between making a smartphone and cutting edge technology weapons. Even we manufacture Apple smartphones so what's the big deal?
You don't manufacture them but you assemble them that is the difference & many parts of military tech come from the civil industry. I gave the example cause the sop of production at a standard are same across every industry and if those sop are followed in civil industry they can also be followed in military industry.
Okay for instance lets us take example of F35 & J20 what is the difference in 2 can you highlight them?

Whatever keeps your boat afloat.

Dude, our private companies like Kalyani, Tata, L&T etc are building cutting edge weapon systems and and we have become self reliant in lot of key technologies. And as for the later part, f35 is for real while j20 is a hoax. It's just like you buy a cheap Chinese copy of an apple smartphone which looks exactly the same but when you use them you get to know the difference.

Even russian have not been able to build q decent stealth fighter. Su57s stealth capabilities are questionable and its engines are underpowered, this is the reason why India walked out of that program.

Most of the Chinese weapons are but knockoffs of the russian weapon systems. When russian themselves haven't been able to do it then how can Chinese be expected to do so when they themselves copy russian weapons?

hahahahah
lol okay so read your own post TATA is a private sector company which now moved in military tech so this proves my first point. So how is production by TATA is better than a Chinese company which worth more on the market? explain that please as well. what is that you do better and others don't?

many of F35 part are sourced from China. China just sanctioned Lockheed for selling weapons to Taiwan & those parts got effected so there is that as well & that makes F35 as Chinese copy as well

For instance your chinese made jf 17s have suffered multiple crashes but out Tejas not even one and is now operational with 2 squadrons, no. 18 and no. 45 and also has been pressed into frontline service.

What parts, engines, radars, avionics? China sanctioning Lockheed Martin is itself a joke.

Look for discussing 5th gen you should first understand 5th gen & what is it's doctrine. 5th gen is not a fighter jet but it has evolved into a doctrine & every country has its own doctrine of air warfare in 5th gen.

Dude it's already operational with 2 squadrons of the IAF, stop living in denial.

How many fighters per squadron?

Why don't you start creating single fighter squadrons to boast up the falling squadrons numbers?
