Indian Navy Moves Mega Deal To Buy 2nd Indigenous Aircraft Carrier

Why? Navy has given a go-ahead, it is bound to happen.
India's long term goal should be maintaining at least 5 aircraft carriers and strike groups.
Why you need 5 carriers 3-4 will be best one for Indian Ocean. Second for Bay of Bengal Malacca Strait and one for repair in your shipyards

. .
They could have atleast made it a steam driven CATOBAR.
Steam CATOBAR is rough on the airframes, thats why EMALS is being developed. INS Vishal is possible only in 2040s. Hope we then will simultaneously build 2 carriers simultaneously like china is.

Our ambitions are global, being a major blue water navy.

Our ambitions are global, being a major blue water navy.
And what business does India have with a global blue water navy? Competing with the US?

That hunger would be twice as worse for you then

.
India is more hungry than Sub Saharan African countries like Sudan, but it will still spend billions on an aircraft carrier.
If condition of the economy was the criteria, your country shouldn’t even have a paramilitary force.

It’s time to stop flogging this line of argument.
India will keep excelling in diverse fields like space exploration, pure science, cutting edge work in many other fields.

But they are at least trying to improve in every sector what we are doing declined into past lol
PN has probably seen the most rapid growth in capabilities of any armed forces service in Asia, behind PLAN.

Your hunger index is far worse than Pakistan's... So you shouldn't even have a police force.

With conditions of economies and their trends we know the path ahead. Currently, your country is 8 positions ahead. India has adequate money to alleviate hunger and also buy an aircraft carrier. Your nation can just comment here. That’s the reality you have to cope with.

Per capita, Paksiatn receives 14 times more aid compared to India. Even this was till few years back. Currently, India has stopped taking any dole unlike some nations whose bowl is always handy and ready to come out. Wrong move to rake up this topic.

This is a list of countries which MIGHT become hungry. The reality is, India is already more hungry than most, if not all, of the countries on this list.
List of countries showing signs of serious hunger, India is nowhere. Is it hard to accept it?

No sh!t sherlock, I am asking two very basic questions -

1) How "Major" of a Power, and
2) For what purpouse
Major enough to be the sole Naval might controlling the entirety of Indian Ocean, and the purpose being to counter chinese and potential influence of other countries in the region if things go south.

So you are basically high on hopium and copium

Need I remind you, Pakistan has been predicted by experts far more credible than you to collapse 5 times in the last 15 years. Not once has it even come close to happening.
