High Ground Clearance is one of the most convincing reason to still retain Mirages in strike role. This clearance provides the provision of integrating various conventional and non-conventional payloads on Mirages which are critical to offensive punch of PAF.

High ground clearance is an asset - but given how the avionics core has limited abilities for modification and it is not possible to PAF to rewire the plane for anything new for the integration of new systems/weapons - it is essentially a dead end platform right given limited flying hours left now.

Deltas from 22 Sqn "Ghazis" somewhere in Southern Punjab. They have served as Operational Conversion Unit of Mirages for quite some time. However, like all other Mirages, they are all poised for standoff strikes using various SOW Munitions & Range Extension Kits.
