Its not about exploring. i mean iran is not even a major power so why is it even getting in the race with them. it cant even launch 100kg and going to moon needs something like 100 tonees launch capacity. something the size of saturn 5. iran is no where on the map of baing a major space power. why the effort and money?? i agree that iran should have the capability to launch satellites but exploration is not what is should waste time on.

First of all Aryan B is an Iranian who for some reason is not coming out of the closet. May be you can give him some confidence.

I am fourth generation British Pakistani. But hey I am not offended by people calling me Iranian or thinking I am Iranian. But please do not think or call me an Indian or Saudi.

Back to topic in making such challenges of going to the moon there will be significant gains in science in discoveries that can be used for other things beneficial for their people

The next two countries who will send people to the moon, in my opinion, are China and Iran.

Other countries may have the technology and finances (Russia and Japan), however they don't seem interested in this goal.

and if we want send human to moon , we need a long term plan .... maybe in 1420 -1430 jalali ( 2040-2050 ) we might be able to send human to the moon ...

but lunching a satellite to moon's orbit is easier ... we can obtain it up to 1404 ( 2025 )
