Muslims live in the 6th century world.

Hezbut Tawheed, a Bangladeshi Islamic movement is fighting this type of regressive veiling practice with original massage from Quran and Hadith. They keep women in their all religious and social activities and those women wear modest cloths with head covering but no burka or niqab. They are also against Mullaism and militancy. They are campaigning agaist Mullas earning their livelihood by selling religion through their Waz-Nasihat and Madrasas. Mullahs in Bangladesh consider Hezbut Tawheed to be heretical but this organization seems to be gaining followers in Bangladesh considering how much Wazi Mulla-Moulovies is venting anger against them. Hezbut Tawheed is popular in Facebook, their videos and posts gaining millions of views.

There is a difference between Mullah culture and Islam.

Again your criticisms of Islam are simplistic and frankly unfair.

Without noting specific examples, I will just say you can find similar foolishness present in the OP in the other monotheistic religions as well as Hinduism.

You can do your own research to find out what I am referring to.

What a pathetic state of Muslims it is.

The amount of ridiculous BS Muslims belive in is mind boggling, covering face is not even a requirement, even if it were there would be exceptions such as showing face to doctors or security forces etc.

I remeber reading a news few years back a Muslim woman was taken to court on some charges in one of the European countries and the judge asked her to remove her face covering to ID her. She refused and entire time she refused. My question is if you are that strict religiously why the foock do you even live in an European country, it's haram to live among the kuffar to start with.

My brother-in-law is a medical doctor who worked in Libya/ Tripoli. I was in another part of Libya in the Misurata Steel Mills construction project.

My younger sister and the doctor conveyed me, when a Libyan woman sees a doctor she would open her top for the doctor to see her bosom if necessary without stupidly talking Islam said this or that. The women see a doctor to get treatment for her disease.

To the women in Libya, a doctor is just a doctor and not a man when he sees his patient. And here our illiterate women are talking of not taking a photograph as if they will be raped instantly.

They should better see their faces in the mirrors and body mass to get assured they are not beautiful though may not be very ugly.

Really, it is disgusting to see how funny the Muslim people are living in the 6th century world!!

It seems every Muslim has his own definition of Islam. What is your definition? Reading many of your posts it seems you still believe someone bifurcated the Moon 1500 years ago.

Muslims live in their superstitious and ignorant world. This is why they are collectively unable to learn subjects based on centuries of observations and researches conducted by hundreds of Christian Pundits and scientists in Europe.

This is why Muslims will keep on remaining what they were 1500 years ago while Christians, Buddhists, Jews and even Hindus have successfully differentiated between truths and religious statements.

Only Muslims remain adamant to stick to the old time thinking of falsehood.

The term fighting is not good here, I am not against women wearing Niqab for instants, some Muslim love their God more than us, so they want to do something more and wearing Niqab is not something against Islam as look like it is the trait of prophet wives due to higher responsibility of prophet wive to the Ummah as whole.

I cannot comment about Burqa, but seems to me Burqa is like making ourselves in difficulty where in Quran Allah said He doesnt want to make Islam as burden to us

This individual has left Islam.

And interestingly, he calls Hasina akin to Namrud. Oh the irony.

All these rambling of Islam being backward, where secular and western scholars almost universally agree that science and research flourished under Islamic Caliphates. The best known was the Abbasids. The Renaissance in Europe began through the interaction of Europeans with the Arabs, be it trade and of course the Crusades. The very same renaissance which gave rise to the Modern European or non-Muslim powers. Empires will rise and fall.

Allah Himself has made sure that we understand that we will not always taste victory or enjoy a position of power. That is the test from Allah. It is easy to believe in something when it is flourishing. Not so easy when it's the other way around.

May Allah help all of us leave this world with our iman in tact.


On the topic - I am not religious scholar, Niqab may not be mandatory but saying niqab is not necessary is not correct either. It depends on individual's level of piety. But given the world we live in now, this request cannot be entertained unfortunately. There is security concerns with regards to non-photo IDs. These individuals should understand that.

There are examples of adapting to the need of the hour if we read the seerah of the Prophet PBUH.

If these ladies remain firm on their stance to maintain their piety, then they should not be privy to the privileges that come with using the National ID card. While they will lose out on the worldly gain, perhaps they will be rewarded for their stance in the after life In Sha Allah.

There are Amish people here in the West who refrain from using any modern amenities. So surely these ladies can also make a living without ever having to compromise on their practice.
