All Afghan and Mughal invaders were Barbarians or Heros !!!

Afghan and Mughal Invaders came to Sub indian continent for theft and lust of power . Why Pakistan Missiles were named on them . We have many muslim heros of soil for example Tipu Sultan , Dullah Bhatti and many Fata tribes mahsud wazir, khattak , Afridi who sacrificed lives for protection of mother land and independence .

Mughals were Uzbek turks, Shair shah suri tribe was belong to Rohri, a village in the deira Ismaeil Khan, Maharaja Ranjit Singh was from Gujranwala, Quṭb al-Dīn Aibak was a Khazakh so its a mixture but frankly other than muslim rulers like Suri etc, i consider Maharaja Ranjitt singh also a hero since he was the son of soil, he was a Jat.. since Jat, Baloch Balti and many other major tribes in Pakistan are nomadic people therefore considering their own race as a hero make sense but since pakistan was created on the name of islam it was obvious to promote the muslims heroes so the next generations of pakistan associate them on religious basis rather than race and cast

The reason we see it differently is because it was our people that were part of the armies that fought and conquered the Neighbor B, and thats why we take pride in our achievements and as we are now Pakistanis we want to extend that pride for the rest of the country no matter what ethnicity they might be.

Not everyone in Pakistan has a lineage like yours.

As a Rajput from Lahori/FSD, I am very proud of my Mughal heritage and history. I feel very close to the those Muslim empires of old as they have left their footprints on this region forever. Pakistani Islamic identity was formed and strengthened by these great heroes of Islam.

When I walk in Badahahi masjid or take a stroll in Shalimar Bagh, I feel the greatness of my ancestors and their magnificience.

Or even co-terminous Pakistanis?
I understand why missiles are named after warriors even from central asia and not philosophers or Sufis like Allama Iqbal or Maulana.

Because everything else is already named after Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam.

Gujranwala doesn't have any killer mithai etc., Your thinking is that of an immigrant suffering from identity crisis and taking refuge in the romanticism of so-called muslim empires and what not. I studied all this rubbish in my school and as far as I remember we just use to study that history subject to pass the exams only, I never saw anyone ever showing cuckoldry to have any kind of romanticism about these mughal shughal type of rubbish that was taught to us in school mutalia pakistan books, no one used to take these things seriously but I have noticed that some children of expat pakistan immigrants in other countries have some kind of strange romanticism about these rubbish historical empires of few families from outside of pakistan. I remember our teacher used to laugh during these classes and used to tell us that it is shameful that we don't have our own indigenous muslim punjabi heroes in the past and the government wants to make some kings ruling in delhi and uttar pradesh as our "heroes", I mean it used to be a funny discussion some times.

Can you prove that your ancestors ruled neighbor B, as far as I know Abdali and his troops were mostly made up of durrani pashtuns who were always predominantly based in what is today's southern Afghanistan, areas like Kandahar etc. The Suris and Lodhis also originated from areas around Ghazni in what is now Afghanistan. I think you are probably Yousufzais who are based in Peshawar, Swat and Swabi etc. Yusufzais never had any notable empire like Abdali durranis, Lodhi or Suris.
Look I will have no problems if our weapons are named after some indigenous patriotic Pakhtun from pakistani areas post 1947, same goes for Punjabi, Baloch, Sindhi, Saraiki, Kashmiri etc. The figures that we use to name our weapons must always be our idigenous heros that carried Pakistani nationality. Afghans rightly criticize when they say that they find it ridiculous that pakistan named a missile after the founder of their country Ahmed Shah Abdali, it is pure form of cuckoldry, I never understand which people decide what Pakistani weapons should be named after, but it looks like they tend stupid people suffering from some form of romanticism of others's achievements and not those of indigenous people of Pakistan.

There is a difference Shahid Afridi carries Pakistani nationality by birth so every pakistani national can make a connection with him. Ahmed Shah Abdali was not a Pakistani national, that is the difference.
