I'm sure there are examples of this, but my guess is that even that wasn't received by the the 'nationalist' lobby in India.

There are many such people who'd make such dramas without issue in Pakistan as well, I don't doubt that. The drama itself isn't necessarily that odd I assume with other Aman ki Asha stuff. Maybe there are other examples of such in Pakistan as well (I don't watch this sort of stuff so I don't know).

The problem is the ISPR approved bit, which obviously gives it a new propaganda dimension. This is a sensitive matter and the ISPR should have been cautious when they not only okayed it but actually invited the writer to tell her (according to her) that this represents their thinking as well.

Whether the message was changed in edits or adaptations but the matter ultimately has become such that it would appear the final product got the approval by the ISPR.

Isn't this hupocrasy ? On one side we want Junagadh ( a Hindu state ruled by Muslim Nawab) and wanted it because Nawab was a Muslim. But still on the other hand we will not accept Indian stance of (Hindu king of Kashmir) . I don't question our stance, we should aim to liberate Kashmir but there should be a level where hupocrasy doesn't exist much.
