Your logic is wrong. If the continent of Europe, North and South America never existed corruption would still be alive in this world. It is simply a failing of Man. Just like greed, lust, anger and every other bad trait you can think of.

The Europeans simply exploited these bad traits to the Nth degree since they had power. And before them others had power and so on and so on.

The North is the Main Problem,Specially UP & Bihar[While the Birth rate of Both States is falling fast,more is needed to be done so they can catch up with the rest of the country & with this new govt at helm the hope in the country is back

What Bate's mother did would certainly have produced a disturbed child. But what everyone must look for is the guidance from a sensible father like Atticus who will teach their children to stand up for a good cause even if the majority is hell against it.

Well Atticus Finch is a certainly a good father and he encouraged his children to speak the truth. He was not abusive of his children and did not naturally presume his children are born rotten scoundrels who need to be caned night and day. Showed up in his children's upbringing when of their own they had the courage to do what is right. Also majority is not always evil and minority is not always innocent as shown by the numerous majorities who were enslaved by the minorities all over the world. Can you imagine Atticus teaching Scout to admire colonization because it is standing up against the majority?

Those are wrong who presume their children are rotten scoundrel.At the same time fathers like Finch are careful enough to keep their children away from any unwanted bigotry and a sense of false pride, pride that derives its principles from concocted lies and propaganda. The essential lessons of pride must be extracted from truth and only truth only, not from some formulated stories.The beauty of true pride does not need endorsement from such liars who manipulate history to oppress other's pride and faith.

What bigotry and what false pride? Is hatred of evil bigotry? Is love of honesty pride? Who concocted the lies and the propaganda? The people without the resources to write books and too busy with backbreaking work to feed their family or the people at the helm of affairs? What honesty is preserved if the fox that raided the hen's house is given the role of the story teller and he proceeds to extol the virtue of raids he did and how he did a service to the poor hen by raiding her house and eating off her chickens?

They say truth cannot be hidden for long nor falsehood rule for ever. One way to differentiate who is the truth teller and who is the liar can be seen from the consequence of following their truth or their lies. There are 2 ends of the spectrum. You have WB which believed it has eschewed false pride and bigotry and was following the truth and virtue far away from concocted lies and propaganda. You have Gujarat where they have believed in the so called concoctions and indulged in false pride.

You can see in the results of how people of these states behave and how they are received by the rest of the world. Both in India and abroad, which community does better is for anyone to see.
