Why establishment is not helping PDM govt? Najam Sethi crying again...

The PTI folks might be jumping at Najam Sethi’s squeal but I’d like to advise one thing.

If the establishment comes and pleads support to PTI, IK should flatly refuse.

We need 0 involvement of establishment in politics, hence the only demand should be complete exit of establishment from politics and resignation of the generals involved in this fiasco. This includes resignation of some corp commanders, DG ISI, senior bureaucrats.

Trust me, if IK forgives them, it would be a cardinal sin.

The main division is between old and last pro American / American spoiled generals and the next breed who were lucky enough not to be brainwashed and recruited by CIA during their so called training and educational courses in the USA due to sanctions.

Now the new breed fought and had their friends die in Afghanistan and in Pakistan. They have no sympathy for the American position or desire to cooperate. They know this poison needs to be removed from our system and we need to stand independently and here lies the division within army’s thinking.

At least that’s what I was told ….

As I keep saying it’s not a protest it’s a revolution and no one can control it if even something small goes wrong. Z

This is exactly why it's all of Pakistanis fight.

We need to get rid of this American lobby in GHQ,
Their ghaddar pet fiefdom which are again and again revived by giving NRO on American instructions bringing economic destruction.
The National Endowment fund funded filth ( Naya daur, Fact focus etc) the SAATH group of traitors, the American embassy propped up presstitutes.
Who sent agents like Gulalai abroad?

All those elements that America uses to micromanage Pakistan.

Ghulami Namanzoor.
End the era of Mir Jaffar and Mir Sadiqs.

indeed if IK joins them, than he is the enemy too!

IK needs every ally whoever supports him to end the American influence/control in the,
1) Security ( the American lobby in GHQ) ,
2) Political ( the pet ghaddar dynasties) and
3) Social ( The National endowment funded projects, the NRO's, the circle of presstitues etc used for social/political engineering) spheres of Pakistan.

Our fight is not against the army or our jawans but the American lobby. Overwhelming majority of our armed forces support a free and sovereign Pakistan.

If you examine his words, Sethi is exactly giving the same message to American lobby in GHQ that to protect the ghaddar dynasties ( American instruments) with force and tackle IK. The reason why the American lobby is under pressure is because of the resistance within the armed forces.

Why do you think all came out in one voice to oppose Gen Faiz?

The fight is also against establishment involvement in politics and foreign policy. This is the very reason American or foreign countries can arm twist into interfering into civilian affairs.

This is a two front war. One against foreign and one against establishment.

Suffice to say, army are good folks and should not be included in this mess.

you can never fight with the Americans as long as you wants the help of establishment! the lower ranks doesn't matter here. the ones that do are already in yankees pockets!

The real fight is against foreign interference/subjugation/control and the local actors that facilitate that against the interests of the nation.

The war on the political front is just one aspect of it.

Please bro don't interpret a 3d chess in 2 dimensional confines.

Understand the slogan 'Ghulami namanzor'.

Had IK being politically weak and had there been no resistance to American coup and lobby within the army IK would be dead by now.

That depends on how you look at it.

Were the establishment not involved in abetting a foreign country in toppling the PTI government? Silent on reports of US officials meeting with stooges and the 2nd tier stooges? Working together with judiciary on giving dubious decisions? Working with the stooges in dragging corruption cases against the stooges?

Does it not make sense to apprehend abettors of Americans who incidentally are some people inside the establishment itself?

Going forward, Pakistan needs 0 involvement of establishment in politics and apprehending the Mir Sadiq / Mir Jaffars. These 2 things are inter related bhai.

Bro again you are seeing the 2 dimensional picture, I did not disagree with your statement rather the limited scope of your argument. If you think the American lobby in the military was the only actor you are wrong, the American political appendages ( the same ghaddar dynasties given NRO's again and again on American behest to protect their interests) as well as their media/social investments needs to be dealt with.

America micromanages the country by a combination of all 3 vectors. All these vectors needs to be cleansed and all the state institutions must act in unison to counter the threat to national sovereignty.

Thats why I said understand 'ghulami namanzoor'. It is not possible that we will get free unless the American appendages are cut in all spheres. Political, Military and Social.

It seems pro PDM journalists can never stop crying. Now that they have got establishment to become "neutral" after 3.5 years of struggle, they are still not happy with the results. Now they are frustrated at establishment because it is no longer helping their crooked PDM govt by being neutral!

As my posting history will show, I am Anti-American as they come. But at the same time, we must recognize primacy of America in international affairs. As bad as this sounds, sad fact is that life of a US national is more valuable than lives of citizens of other countries especially of those belonging to poor countries. The exception is Israel which can kill Americans with impunity but that is another story. If memory serves me correctly, GB1 even refused to apologize for the downing of an Iranian airliner whose passengers were killed in cold blood by Americans. And I am not even sure if US politicians have expressed any contrition for Vietnam war?

Given reality, it is stupid of IK to keep banging his view that Pakistan should have let Al Qaeda setup a base in Pakistan in the aftermath of 9/11. America was always going to attack Afghanistan after 9/11 and Pakistan could not do a damned thing to stop American attack. And Al Qaeda operatives were always going to escape to Pakistan once war started. Nor were Al Qaeda operatives any friends of Pakistan. More importantly, GWOT is history and nothing good is going to come out of beating a dead horse. Americans are obviously smarting from failure in Afghanistan but it is a suicidal strategy on the part of IK to rub American noses at a time when American establishment was licking its wound. Discretion was the better part of valor.

On policy of giving bases to America, I agree with IK's stance. But perhaps situation could have been handled more diplomatically. Buck could have been passed to national assembly or to security council so that IK could not have taken the bullet. His foolish and unnecessary drumbeat over GWOT had already put him under spotlight. On the base issue, IK walked straight into the trap. In countries like Pakistan, there will always be a group of people willing to do America's bidding. That IK did not cover his bases before tempting the great satan does not say much about his political acumen.

International order is unfair. Hopefully that will change in the future but for time being that is a nothing a poor and weak nation like Pakistan can do to make things right especially since there is so much to do at home. This is where emphasis should be.

This is not to excuse Bajwa and co. But these people are product of a time when America was the only game in town. World is changing but in our part of the world, people dont change with times. Bajwa probably thought grand aqa can help Pakistan. But reality is American tuttoos only help themselves. Army high command should have known this fact. It is army's fault that Pakistan is in this position. Army knows how to get Pakistan out.
