Swan Lake by Ecopark Photo: Ecopark
Swan Lake Residences is part of the $20 billion dollar Ecopark development in Hanoi, Vietnam, that is disrupting the construction industry and changing the way we design and build homes. Currently under development, Swan Lake Residences is one of Ecopark’s multiple construction phases, featuring onsen facilities in every residential unit.
New global standards of residential living are being set by Swan Lake Residences , which is the world’s first onsen complex with the hot springs facility in every residential unit.
Onsen are Japan’s traditional hot springs and bathing facilities, which are being brough to Vietnam with the hopes that it’s many benefits will become an international trend. Onsen have a plethora of mental and physical health benefits including boosting blood circulation, as well as having restorative minerals which are essential for remedying skin irritation. However, most importantly, Onsen has an incredibly calming atmosphere, which is almost meditative.
Swan Lake Residences will be a residential complex dedicated to water and nature, creating air quality equivalent to that of New Zealand. Swan Lake is part of a wider project to create a green, modern and sustainable city; where quality of life, mental health and wellbeing comes first.
The hot spring (onsen) facility will be nearly 3 000 sqm with more than 8 00 sky gardens, each residential unit equipped with a garden. This is revolutionary, because a study into the cognitive benefits of nature found that nature helps in emotional regulation and improves memory functions. Studies have also shown that people suffering from mild to major depressive disorders showed significant mood uplift when exposed to nature and felt more motivated and energized, often recovering faster.
There will be breath-taking landscapes in Swan Lake, as sky bridges that connect 5 residential towers will be decorated with Sakura flower, cherry blossom. There will be more than 800 sky gardens and 60 royal sky gardens making Swan Lake Residences the world’s tallest and greenest complex to date. Swan Lake takes the quality of its features seriously, with the onsen facilities being ranked among the best spring water in the world.
