On March 15, a Sukhoi-30 MKI jet had crashed+in Shivkar Kudla village in Rajasthan's Barmerdistrict, leaving three villagers injured.IAF has lost seven of the 240 Sukhoi-30MKI jets inducted till now. This will be, once confirmed, the eighth crash. As of now, jet is "overdue".

So we have 232 Su-30 MKIs.
That's a huge number.

Yea with one balloon kill to their name.

So high crash rate of your top tier fighter plane is not a concern for you.
P.S First pray and hope that both the pilot survives.
He's a desperate multi ID fan boy, who the other day even opened a thread comparing PAF and IAF crashes.

Bad weather may be one reason.

This shows quality of maintenance of crew and spares,

Hope pilots survive the crash.

This shows quality of maintenance of crew and spares,
Since January 2012 till today there have 28 crashes of IAF fighter jets whereas PAF has seen 21 fighter jet crashes i.e. a ratio of 1.33:1.
Now taking into consideration the fact the IAF is 1.8 to 2.0x the size of PAF, PAFs crash rate is significantly worse than IAF's.

In helicopter department too, January 2012 onwards Indian military saw 12 write offs & 5 damaged whereas Pakistan whose helo fleet despite being atleast 1.8x smaller saw 10 write offs(incl 1 in Congo) & 5 damaged in same period i.e. a crash ratio of 1.20:1 which means in this department too, Pakistan crash rate is much worse.
