Of course I do. Its Not a secret that India was and is facing issues. Even with MKI !
Read again what you underlined....it doesn't concern the MKI as no MKI took part in the Kashmir conflict.

You do realize that India Got Mirage 2000 to counter f16s. Do compare the losses of Mirages vs F16s ( best comparable air crafts, atleast in terms of maturity in technology and the time of induction in their respective a/f ) India has lost merely 3-4 aircrafts, Nearly HALF of what PAF lost with F16s !
And you do realize that the Mirage-2000 started arriving some two years after the F-16 and did the Mirages participated in an over decade of combat and like the PAF F-16s flying overseas to participate in exercises, how many times did the IAF Mirages left India and by claiming that IAF lost only 3-4 aircraft, you have only proved further to have no knowledge in this field.

##In addition, with the various accidents that occurred, another eight single-seat and one two-seat aircraft were ordered in 1986 as attrition replacement and maintenance reserves.##

Pilots of Crashed Iaf Su-30 Aircraft Fatally Injured

Sqn Ldr D Pankaj and Flt Lt S Achudev, the pilots of the Su-30 aircraft sustained fatal injuries when the aircraft crashed approximately 60 Km from Tezpur Airbase on 23 May 17. Analysis of the Flight Data Recorder of the aircraft and certain other articles recovered from the crash site revealed that the pilots could not initiate ejection before the crash. The wreckage of the aircraft was earlier located on 26 May 17 after continuous search operation in the area.

The Su-30 aircraft took off around 1030 h on 23 May 17 and had gone off the radar and lost radio contact around 1110 h when aircraft was around 60 Kms from Tezpur. The aircraft was on a routine training mission as part of a two aircraft formation.

The aircraft was declared overdue and Search and Rescue operations were launched to locate the aircraft and the pilots. Help from civil administration and military authorities was also sought to locate the aircraft. Aerial search was commenced based on the last known position of the Su-30 MKI. Incessant rain, dense clouds and difficult terrain hampered the search operations in air and on the ground.

A court of Inquiry has already been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident.

problem isn't Su-30 but the MKI

the low level of indian standards has meant Make In India will end up loosing you 5 to 10% of your fleet.

India should stick well away from making any jets/flying coffins.
I thanked you...YES Thanked you!!... for your invaluable observation and suggestions..
