Nepalese I have seen are staunchly anti India. They claim sikkim and darjeeling along with other parts. Nations born of religion and ethnicity never get along. Same is the case with pashtun supremacist Afghanistan and multi ethnic Pakistan. It is a reality because and is a result of a difference in psyche between nations.

Nepalis are being killed by Indians in huge numbers. My Nepali brothers, dont worry. China is waiting for your word. China will care for you like a child.

Look what is happening in Nepal:

Four Madhesi protesters shot dead in fresh Nepal clashes | The Indian Express

^^ This is from today! Nepalis are dying everyday. The world will stop this.
The author of this OP has twisted the facts deliberatley which is wrong. It is not Indians are killing Nepalis in huge numbers but it is the Nepal police who opened fire on the protestors.
I request you to open the link. The first para itself says the Nepal police opened fire

" At least four people were killed and over two dozens wounded as Nepal police opened fire in several places on crowds that were obstructing trucks ferrying goods along the highway in parts of the volatile southern Tarai districts.
However, the police has only confirmed two of the deaths. "

After Indian independence
In 1947, when India became independent, a popular vote rejected Sikkim's joining the Indian Union. Although a treaty was made between India and Sikkim in 1950, in the interest of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. That Indo-Sikkim treaty made Sikkim an Indian protectorate status. Sikkim came under the suzeraintyof India, which controlled its external affairs, defence, diplomacy and communications, but Sikkim otherwise retained administrative autonomy.

A state council was established in 1953 to allow for constitutional government under the Chogyal. Meanwhile, the Sikkim National Congress demanded fresh elections and greater representation for Nepalis in Sikkim. Palden Thondup Namgyal, the Chogyal at the time, proved to be extremely unpopular with the people. In 1973, riots in front of the Chogyal's palace led to a formal request for protection from India.

In 1975, the Prime Minister of Sikkim appealed to the Indian Parliament for Sikkim to become a state of India. In April of that year, the Indian Army took over the city of Gangtokand disarmed the Chogyal's palace guards. Thereafter, a referendum was held in which 97.5 per cent of voters supported abolishing the monarchy, effectively approving union with India. Although the union was presented as the will of the people by the Indian authorities, the merger was widely criticised as an annexation and India was accused of exploiting the ethnic divide and rigging the referendum.[25] On 16 May 1975, Sikkim became the 22nd state of the Indian Union, and the monarchy was abolished.[26] To enable the incorporation of the new state, the Indian Parliament amended the Indian Constitution. First, the 35th Amendment laid down a set of conditions that made Sikkim an "Associate State", a special designation not used by any other state. Later, the 36th Amendment repealed the 35th Amendment, and made Sikkim a full state, adding its name to the First Schedule of the Constitution.[27]

I was just stating the nepalese side of the story:

what does Nepal offer China??

Reality check - India will be building the biggest ever Hydroelectric power station for Nepal, which, China was trying hard to get. India will be drawing 83% of energy from that.

No matter what one says or does, the ground realities, the geographies cannot be ignored. Nepal has easy access to India through the plains, while with China, it is through mountain passes.

Nepal also has a special status. Nepalese citizens can work in India without having the need to acquire Work Permits. Lots of Nepalese students/working professionals are in India.

question still is what can NEPAL offer China

is Nepal worth the time and money??

it's clear Nepal is in India sphere of influence and has the upper hand as you pointed out those facts.

Nepal needs heavy investment in infrastructure especially after the earthquake.

I guess you perception comes from internet- Nepalis are just like another state for India- India provides everything It needs- from match sticks to LPG at subsidized rate- People from Nepal come here to study and work- We have a Gurkhas serving in the armed forces- our Govt- provides pensions to several thousands of them who have retired- So Its like just another province of India same with Bhutan- The problem comes from the elite Kathmandu ruling society people who don't want to accept this reality and start doing fancy things- Which we don't even pay attention to- However their supremacist attitude always gets them in trouble when their own subjects who are left out and ignored start revolting- every thing goes downhill and sh!t hits the fan and India has to step in as It cannot let an unstable Nepal to undermine our own internal security- What has been happening now is nothing new- Last time when communists were making these anti-India supremacist Kathmandu elite urinate in their pants with every new victory and surrender of royal troops- It was Indians who told communists enough is enough get to the table for talks before we make you get there- So all India is doing even today is sit and watch- when the time comes we would be forced to step in and settle things- China knows the reality and hence is not much interested other than symbolic gestures to make this elite group feel comfortable while they can-

Nepal is like our Canada- and expecting them to join China is like expecting Canada to Join Russia-

Your argument seems very similar to the argument we Pakistanis wrongly use for justifying intervention or should I say interference in Afghanistans affairs. Each country should be free to make its decisions. india acting as the big brother from Sri Lanka to Nepal and Bangladesh to Bhutan is a major problem for the local people. Each of these nationalities as a result don't seem to like India. Theres @manlion, there nepalis in the past and theres @samv. I haven't seen lankans or other smaller countries dominated by India have a positive image of India.

You should stop trying to control other countries foreign policy. US did that in Afghanistan and now its a rubble with the Taliban whom they created at the top. Whenever another nation has tried to direct the thought or foreign policy of another nation it has spelled disaster. Nepalis deserve to be free.

nepal can give china a business.. strategic importance she has..
Strategic important like what? Allowing China to place all its military asserts in Nepal?

The moment Nepal think about it. Nepal will become new state of India.

Will Pakistan hand over NFWP to Afghanistan, infact the Afghans are demanding NFWP right from 1947.

About the Gorkhas, they r demanding a separate state and not a separate homeland nor any merger with Nepal. The same is about Sikkim.Once I again explaining in simple words, There was a referendum in Sikim in which 97% voted for India and not merger with Nepal. Sikkim became a part of India in 1975.U read my previous reply once again. The king of Sikkim Palden Thondup Namgyal, proved to be extremely unpopular with the people. In 1973, riots in front of the Chogyal's palace led to a formal request for protection from India. Finally In 1975, the Prime Minister of Sikkim appealed to the Indian Parliament for Sikkim to become a state of India.

No need to tell or reply to these troll links, Just watch and laugh.
