some mentality on pdf

no, not the virtual world but just pdf.

pdf is only my third forum... the first two were serious forums with serious people who actually were political activists and had changed their lives to accommodate activism and work to bring changes to the off-line world... they had courage unlike people like "skull and bones".

there's a vast difference between those two forums and pdf... maybe my mistake is assuming pdf to be sensible place.

curious, what other forums ?

do you know of nation-states ? you can make your own country there.. not a member but used to lurk on their forums earlier.

jamahiriya is a direct-democracy, maybe guided by a few, but governed by the people... aap's "swaraj" is similar.

Everyone is equally responsible for polluting up this forum.Okay,let me get you this straight,individuals visit such forums to kill few hours.They don't realize the power of words,they come and ease their frustration.For example,your boss scolded you for not accomplishing enough target,you might visit this forum and ease your frustration by shifting your hate to somebody else.Similarly,some research m.phils and PHDs-good for them to kill few hours rather then suffocating in labs awaiting for gel results or ESI results etc.
However,they don't realize that this forum is also being visit by some foreign research students of political sciences,IR students etc,some old and lonely people who are too decent to have any third class fun.Some young patriotic kids.Those people who troll by nuking India or Pakistan,insulting Islam or any other religion,or simply blaming jews for everything are not realizing that how their temporary low class approach is affecting them.Who knows that your kind words will ease someone's frustration,make somebody happy for few minutes,increase someone's info or persuade someone to re-analyze religion of any kind?
destruction will only bring destruction,hate will only bring hate.But who cares?it is just a forum after all-why should I contribute even little kindness to somebody?huh!

Here there are subjects there are people with whom you can have a sensible discussion. And when you want a sensible discussion then you need to be sensible too.

i will rephrase what "slav defence" said just above... anoymity on pdf gives many members free reign to be mean, abusive, frustration-shifting, ignorant etc... that voices of the good gets smothered in the fish-market cacophany of bad.

and in life, shouldn't be act against the bad and raise the good??

Saw this site before, they do have limits on what you can and can't do. I would rather do the real thing and create a Micronation.

could be, I never did the role playing thing but their forums are quite open to all sorts of political discussions.
