Sheikh Rasheed confirms/hints about buying J-10 Jets

PAF is fully committed to its JF17 program, and satisfied with the progress. Many approaches are under consideration for Project Azm, and official statements shall be released in due time.
So in short no commitment to a further intermediate buy.

Apologies for bringing this topic from the dead, but was wondering if anyone has the Specs for the J-10C/E like the one available on Wiki for J-10A.

I'm kinda working on a Photoshop project comparing the J-10C/E with the current JF-17 (Block II) - as we're still not sure about the Block III.

The idea is to put the comparison to rest if the JF-17 & the J-10 are one of the same.

So, if anyone has the Specs, kindly share it...

According to an apparent promotional flyer of the FC-20E (previously termed as the J-10CE), the fighter’s specifications are as follows:

  • Length: 16.9 m
  • Wingspan: 9.7 m
  • Height: 5.7 m
  • Max Mach Number: 1.8
  • A/A Combat Radius 1,240 km/2,600 km (Air-to-Air Refueling)
  • Max. Ferry Range: 2,950 km
Credits : @Bilal Khan (Quwa) who made an article earlier. This was displayed on a flyer.

J-10B and C are almost the same except for the use of AESA radar and increase in use of composites. Powerplant, MTOW and Empty weight, Wing loading and stuff, @Deino and @LKJ86 could provide MAYBE

Bro this is useless thread PAF already rejected J-10 in past because of JF-17/J-10's capabilities are closely similar to each other

Pakistan already bought j10 we will have f22 in next week.

Yeah, I already saw this earlier but they're like only 6 Points.

Challo, even if they have - its just something to compare. Plus, capabilities may be similar, but hardware payload isn't not is the speed.

then why PAF reject sir
Just because something was rejected yesterday, doesn't mean its set in stone.

You'd be amazed how the matter could shift if we are denied F-16's and/or other jets from the West.

There is also the possibility that the next ACM might be in favor of the J-10.

Its an evolving environment. I never thought i'd downgrade from a Lexus IS to a bloody Mitsubishi Lancer, but sh!t happens.

if J10c coming, what about Tactics Development for Js :what:
we always talk about which jet to procure, never about how we will deploy that A/C
