RUSSIAN PLANES INTERCEPT ISRAELIS JETS OVER LEBANON

We are not a minority
We are 50% of israeli jews. Yes ashknzi jews are in more power then mizrahi jews . But no one cares .
Enjoy....this is your time but your time is fast approaching its end. Evil had limited duration ask your father Adolf Hitler

Few months ago when Israel attacked Syrian airbase housing Iranians and killing few of them, it used Lebanese airspace to launch standoff missiles.

In order to stop Israeli airforce to attack syria, Lebanese airspace must be made no fly zone for isrealis. I understand Russian are conducting a excersise till 26th in the area and have made Lebanese airspace no fly zone for the duration. It seems they are now practising this in real-time and IAF provided them the opportunity to experiment.

Most funniest news a bomber challenging an attack aircraft..

Mostly a symbolic warning ' stay out if my area'
Funny that only one guy noticed that on military forum.

Su-34 is not just a bomber, it is very capable fighter too
Avionics

Su-34 is a bomber. Its loaded with lots of armor and can't maneuver properly. Retard who made up this story did not even bother to check some facts.

Does not matter as the SU-34 has a good radar and a mix of very manuverable short and long-range AAMs that can take down other planes.

They should have retaliated, like they should have done with Turkey..Nobody is going to take them seriously, especially Israel after they tested their blood..

Israel is different. Russia is not going to do anything. Even Putin the tough guy.

But Su34 is used in bomber configuration not air superiority fighter in Syria and Tripoli is in Libya not Lebanon. How can Russia Intercept Israeli Planes all the way over Libya :what:

Where is UN charter here israel violates sovereign nation air space

Putin is not stupid, he knows the consequences of retaliating against israel all too well. Apart from that he's a supporter of the zionazi state against the Muslim nations. He's just using that moronic Syrian baboon to have a say in ME. When his usage will come to an end Putin will simply give the green signal to his zionazi friends to finish him off through a precision air-strike against his presidential rat hole in Damascus.

I do wish Russian show some teeth. But somehow Russian keep embarrassing themselves like loss 2 planes from aircraft carrier with a smoky carrier. And now loss a il-20 spy plane which is the only one send to syria. I am sure it's IAF using decoy to misled Syria SAM to take down Russian plane. But it's still sad to say Russian military electronic tech is below standard to allow such things happen.

Things don't work in the real world like this. Greece, Turkey, the US, China, etc have all had their aircraft shot down and they chose not to escalate the situation further.

1. If Russia would have attacked Turkey over the SU-24 it would have triggered a war with NATO and Turkey would have overwhelmed the Russian air base and naval base which only has about a dozen fighters and an unknown number of SAMs. The end result would be Russia firing cruise, ballistic missile, SAMs, and electric warfare attacks so Russia would inflict at least the same if no much more destruction on to Turkey but it would not be worth it to lose both bases.

2. Syria shot down the IL-20, it would be rediculous to attack Israel even if they may have used the IL-20 for bait. Moreover, Israel has hundreds of fighters and many SAMs right on Syria's doorstep, they would easily whipe out the the airbase and naval port in Syria. Again just like with Turkey Russia would fire dozens of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, SAMs and launch electronic warfare. Plenty of Israeli targets would be attacked including airbases, naval ports and so on, but again is it worth it? Especially economically?

3. Russia successfully jammed US electronic warfare aircraft. Russia has been jamming Ukrainian and western equipment in Ukraine too. Russian EW capability are probably better then Chinese and actually tested in combat. The reason Israeli F-16 have only suffered 1 loss in Syria is because they fly below radar coverage and fire standoff weapons. The IL-20 was flying high and can not outrun or outturn a SAM like an F-16, it probably doesn't even have flares since it was never designed to operate over contested airspace. It was shot down because Syrian SAM operators were firing wildly.

What are the circumstances in which the plane got shot down bro? Did they locked to the IL20 or missile from the SAM hit it on route to other target? My condolences.

The SU-34 is still maneuverable enough to be able to get into a turning fight and kill.

It's still a Flanker after all and all Flankers even with full weapon loads can do Cobras and high AOA. Besides maneuverability is not as important as the element of surprise or causing the enemy to play along into your weaknesses. This is basic stuff that Israel and many others exploited wile fighting more agile opponents.

Israel don’t give a fuk. Russia should avoid confrontation, F35 jets are also there, Israel will turn Russian plane into dust so better to avoid that situation & remain peaceful.

Israel attacked targets from roughly the same vicinity of the IL-20, per usual Israeli aircraft fly low to avoid SAMs and radars then climbed, released their weapons, then dove back down and flew away. At which point the IL-20 was heading back to Syria so apparently Syrian SAM operators mistook it for a missile. Syrians fire some 20 missiles and one hit the IL-20. The crew off course never expected it and did not even have time to decent to a safer altitude even if they know what was about to happen.

They do give a "fuk" because Russia can hit dozens of Israeli targets including parked aircraft and other targets via cruise missiles from submarines, ships and aircraft hundreds of km away. Russia can also attack the Israeli navy (probably sink the entire navy within days) and causes major problems for Israel by launching cyber attacks to cripple the military and civilian sectors. Israel wants no of it thus they are playing nice and cooperating. At the end Israel is not NATO, no one will fight Russia for Israel.

What is IFF systems for? If a Russian made misille system cant recognise their own aircraft as friend so it is a Big mistake for Russians or they have Good competitors at EW systems..
Syria is the best battlefield for electronic warfare systems. World's best are there and I think we will go on to see interesting things like this one if war goes on.
