When we buy stuff, it's generally in a lot of numbers. So LM intends to sell a lot of F-35s to India. Which in turn means it can only happen through license production.

Otherwise, the US is ready to sell F-35s to India in small numbers directly from their factories anytime. Particularly to the IN which are needed in small numbers.

So there are two plans:
1. Buy 2 or 3 squadrons of F-35s direct from the US.
2. Buy the F-16 or F/A-18 for license production now and then buy F-35 for license production after the F-16 or F/A-18 license production is over. Basically, LM will convert the F-16 production line into the F-35 production line at a later date.

My point is that's ludicrous. You might as well claim that 'ToT' for the B-2 bomber would be given to India too.

also, ur own air force chief already said they r not interested in F-35.
Whether they r not interested in 5th technology planes or is in fact, too poor to procure them is up to individual's judgement. Your country is too poor to even build enough toilets, let alone produce 5th generation planes.

To license produce something, you need ToT. Without ToT, there is no production.

Also you are too stupid to understand this. India is not asking for the F-35 or its production line, it's the Americans who are offering it. They are the ones offering ToT and Indian production of F-35. I'll repeat again: It's not an Indian request, it's an American offer.
