JF-17 Thunder - Information Pool

We have planned a facility to produce JF17 windshields. It costs us around... 279.000 Should be ready in june 2015...

Somehow the RD93MA is mysterious. My feeling is that is part of the block3 (2016). It has been started in 2012 so still strange it takes that long...

I don't think these papers are a good example of R&D put in by the Pakistanis. These papers got published in 2010 and seem to be a study on already developed DSI system on JF17.

Only the lame Indian posters didn't believe, and we don't have to prove to them anyway. All the rest had full faith in our Research and Design team.
Another.

My hint goes to testing at M1.8... You guys are smart. You do not need hints neither do you need help to read through it...

A few good friends were/are in the JF-17 team from the ground up. They give me what they are allowed to tell plus juicy little tidbits. Let the Indians envy our speed and capabilities, no one gives a ****. We are who we are and we achieved a lot more with a LOT less. Thanks to the professionalism of our Air Force.

Superstar,

This is not chicken recipe that you print right away----but this is part of development of a weapons systems----normally the technology disclosures come out a little while after the item is in service---and that is for is for items that can be copied just by looking at them----.

Alan Warnes, Islamabad - IHS Jane's Defence Weekly
26 June 2014

The Block 2 JF-17 has several capability increases over the Block 1s, but the main boost to the PAF as well as to export potential is the installation of an air-to-air refuelling system. One aircraft has been fitted with a refuelling probe, which protrudes from the right side of the fuselage just behind the cockpit, sitting forward of the pilot's position.

AVIC CAC Completes New Flight Test of FC-1 - Shandong Air - 山东航空产业网

CANNEWS - On September 24, AVIC Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) completes the last flight test concerning the asymmetric configuration subject of FC-1 aircraft.

The symmetric configuration subject is to test the weight-bearing effects of both sides of the wing of FC-1 aircraft. Over the past two months, CAC has completed 23 subject tests including high overload, transonic speed and maximum take-off weight, laying the foundation for the final delivery.
