Jammu and Kashmir celebrates Eid with Pakistan

Sign of an illegetimate imperial overlord, trying to divide natives into different groups. Just like Israel has made a concerted effort to cause divides between Christian and Muslim Palestinians in order to undermine the Palestinian national struggle.

http://english.alarabiya.net/en/vie...o-create-Palestinian-religious-divisions.html

Similarly the Indian propaganda machine seeks to cause a Shia Sunni divide to weaken the Kashmiri independence movement and make it seem like just a single desperate community is causing the ruckus. Only brainwashed Indian nationalists fall for this nonsense.

it didnt really work in Palestine and it definitely wont work in Kashmir. Brainwashed indian "nationalists" are really just brain-dead nincompoops who will believe any lie that suits their agenda. Ground realities are different

once again Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims

so these naughty J&K people are claiming whole of Pakistan is theirs now?

A lot of butt hurt bhartis in this thread. Truth is Kashmiris are much more closer to Pakistanis, many of them despise Bharti occupation.

yet they weren't aren't and won't ever be in current Pakistan or in anyother form Pakistaan mutates into after Baloochistan takes wings

dont blame Religion, blame British for give us "ched wali thali" in 1947.
map+india+1750.gif

How many years would we keep blaming the British. Time for India to take the problem head on.

It may be possible that moon may be sighted in Indian occupied Kashmir the same day as of Pakistan.

People who are blind (with hatred) cannot see. They only hear (voice that brain washes them).

We stand by Kashmir politically, and through faith and the same culture. Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims!!!! Keep in your prayers peaceful freedom fighters like Geelani, Mirwaiz Sahib and Yasin Malik -- who are imprisoned every year by the increasingly cowardly occupation forces who are scared of them and their influence - jail is their second home. Eid Mubarak and FREEDOM for Kashmir will be attained one day. Appreciate the support and affection from our Kashmiri brothers and sisters. Pakistan has and will continue to give a lot in this principled and moral cause.

By the way Deccan Hyderabad and Bihar also celebrated EID today as well.

joke of the century, Kashmir issue has no sectarian undertones at all....dont you know that the leader of Hurriyet Council is a Shiia (Syed Ali Geelani) and he is revered by tens of thousands of Muslims in Kashmir including Sunnis. Your information about "increasing divide" is invalidated.

In fact I remember 2 years ago a Muharram procession was banned by the cowardly occupation forces and many Sunnis (as well as Sikhs and Kashmiri Pundits) protested. Ground realities are ground realities, dont believe everything Times Now tells you ;)

One could actually apply more of said logic to india - Most Kashmiris want nothing to do with india, hate to identify themselves as "indian" so why should india fund a 3.5-4 lakh troop presence (and the logistics involved) in a land where they are never welcomed and are in fact hated - due to oppression and suppression that's been going on for decades?

Why should Pakistan abandon the cause when Kashmiris are pro Pakistan or at least pro-independence? In AZAD J&K and in iOK there is no uprising at all or bad feeling towards Pakistan. No need for you to worry about our economy - it's india that needs to get out of its delusion! The sooner the better

it's actually india that proposes seperate "townships" for Kashmir Pundits (which even many Pundits who actually live in Kashmir are rejecting), it's india imposing AFSPA, regularly monitoring social media and arresting political dissidents, regularly banning SMS services and imposing other draconian and absurd rules on Kashmiris.....fair to say you have no basis to talk about democracy and Kashmir in the same sentence

If you could do nothing to India in the past or in present, there is zero chance that you could do anything to India in future. You are welcome to provide all political and diplomatic support to Kashmiri ''cause''. until it is not military. Go to UN, OIC or where ever, but no guns and terrorism.

I recall reading somewhere that Pakistan only provides moral support to the Kashmiri terrorists.:D

Pakistan, even in the state it's in, still has plenty to loose over the Kashmir Issue. So its in interest of India to see the status quo drag on. It would be stupid of India to reach some sort of settlement, if the day ever comes.
Let it burn, let the issue rot, as it has for last 70 odd years.
Our land our rules.

Actually it is not the governments in India that dictate when religious festivals are done. It is the religious clergies. In many states in India, Muslims clergies said the date was on Thursday, while in Maharashtra, Kerala and Kashmir the people are celebrating the day Pakistan is celebrating.

Anyway, Happy eid to all muslim brothers and sisters!

Looks like the sectarian divide in Kashmir has hit hard on Pakistani. I have been to Kargil couple of times and has seen how the Shia community hate Pakistan. I suggest Pakistanis to brush up their history and the cause of the failure of all past attempts in Kashmir. Yes , it's true that the Kashmiri Shias don't want anything to do with Sunni Pakistan leaving a few on Pakistan payroll ....

What is the big deal? Our offices were closed on Wednesday too. Eid is not known for keep up with the pre-announced date. The sighting of moon is last minute event and hence not possible to shift the holidays at last moments for many.
Anyways...Happy Eid !!

It's a common thing in occupied regions; regardless of religion - if you are occupying a land against the will of the people; they will resist - that is common sense.

You should look at the polls and surveys of Kashmiris about how they feel about India.

Who says we want Kashmir...?

We want to see it free from Indian occupation; it won't be us that'll liberate it - but it'll be the Kashmiris themselves.
Really....as per UN resolution....first step for Kashmir liberation is demilitarisation of Pakistan side of border...why don't your angel Pakistan army does that?
Scared that Kashmiris will vote for India in the referendum?lol
