1948 the tribal militia most likely were out numbered by the Indians 30 to 1. They outnumbered the Pakistan "Army" but still couldn't move an inch as soon as they saw some resistance.
There was one battalion of the Indian Army outside Srinagar. Every man jack had to be flown in. The Pakistan Army was not in action officially; only its officers, on leave, were part of the so-called tribal raiders.
You talk of 'most like were out numbered by the Indians 30 to 1'. I am forced to ask if you know anything at all about this conflict. Are you aware that the British Indian Army was divided between Pakistan and India, or are you aware of the ratio of the division?
As for moving an inch, you clearly don't know that Skardu was besieged and ultimately captured by the forces of the Gilgit Scouts combined with the state forces of the Mehtar of Chitral (at that time, Muzaffar ul Mulk) before the Indian Army was anywhere near, that Kargil was captured, that the Zoji La was defended by artillery pieces owned by the Chitral troops, and that Leh was besieged - all before the arrival of the Indian Army, except for the siege of Skardu, that lasted a long time.
Since some people are too lazy, or are handicapped in reading, Kargil was re-captured, Zoji La was attacked and carried by Stuart tanks, and Leh was relieved. Large portions of Poonch were also freed of the raiders, and their successor formations from the Pakistan Army.
If you don't know the facts, try to stay away from posting, even if doing that gives you a sudden rush of blood to various places. Jumping up and down and inflicting your amateur dramatics is not a grown up thing to do.
The Indians managed to teach cowardice to Afghans. Something even the brutal USSR oppression couldn't achieve.
They seem to have been none the worse for their experience, as your own armed forces serving personnel will inform you.
So go sh!t in the street in front of each other and spare us your nonsense.
That is not a tolerable thing to say, in any circumstances.
Pakistan can easily stir up the Golden Temple situation even,
Really?
What stops you?
Your innate modesty? Perhaps a shortage of gasoline and flour?
For the G20 summit in the disputed territory of Kashmir India was given certain guaranees from certain corners that all of a sudden the scum of the rapist Indian army will not be ambushed.
It is to be hoped that you did not sign those guaranees not to ambush whatever you thought right to call the Indian Army.
Incidentally, that is not acceptable language.
