Stop drinking that cheap @$$ whiskyThis was a great move by the Akal Takht. All faithful Sikhs support this. Satwant Singh and Beant Singh the assassins were not even into politics, for them it was revenge. The attack on the Darbar Sahib was such an evil act by Indira Gandhi, she had to pay for this crime.
People can criticize Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala all they like, but to the average Sikh he has gone down as a hero of the Sikh Panth similar to the other Shaheeds such as Baba Deep Singh or Baba Gurbaksh Singh who also had laid down they lives defending Darbar Sahib in previous centuries.

Nothing awful. Just read any Sikh history book. All Sikh historians quote Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwala as a great Sikh Shaheed while Indira Gandhi is seen as a tyrant by the Sikhs, similar to Aurangzeb or Ahmad Shah Abdali. 1984 is seen as a "Ghalugara"(Sikh holocaust). Operation blue star is one of many such battles Sikhs have fought through out history against tyrants. Tyrants like Indira, Aurangzeb will come and go, but the Shaheeds will live on forever.
Satwant Singh and Beant Singh are also seen in the same light as other great Sikhs of the past who have punished tyrants for their crimes. They are often compared to Sukha Singh Mehtab Singh(killers of Massa Rangar) or Udham Singh(took revenge of Jillianwala Baagh).

A vow of a prime minister is first to the nations citizens. If a PM goes against that vow and begins to kill the nation's citizens for political gain, it is the Dharma of every Indian to punish that Prime minister. That is what Satwant Singh and Beant Singh did. Being followers of Dharma, they did a great favour to India by killing Indira Gandhi.
If a Jew had been able to assassinate hitler during the holocaust, today the entire world would have praised him as a hero. Only difference is, we Sikhs got our chance to kill our hitler(Indira Gandhi). Sikhs have never cared what the world thinks of them. Through out history tyrants have always held popular opinion in their favour. This is Kaliyug where tyrants are seen as great while the few warriros who fight by Dharma were seen as rebels, traitors or villains.
Why do you care what others think about Satwant Singh and Beant Singh, they were Sikhs and were honoured by Akal Takht and Sikhs respect them :end of story:A vow of a prime minister is first to the nations citizens. 1. You are not qualified to judge a Prime Minister of India. For all you know she may have taken the best possible action for India. Dharma dictates that if there is a doubt she did not fulfill her vow , she should have been taken to court. People who decide to be judge, jury and executioner is NOT following any DHARMA.
2. If the two coward singhs wanted to follow Dharma ....they should have first resigned from their position. Made a public declaration of their intent to kill Indra Gandhi and then Killed her by giving her all chance either to explain herself of defend herself. That is the way of Dharma.
3. If you honor Adharmi's , you become Adharmi yourself and you teach you kids to walk away from their Dharma.
How just the Indian justice system is we all know. Have Sajjan Kumar or Jagdish tytler been punished after they carried out Anti Sikh riots? so what makes you think that Indira gandhi would have been punished? far from punishing her for her crimes, congress party was a land slide electoral victory because of the attack she carried out against the Sikhs, an Airport in Delhi, collages, schools, universities have been named in her honour. So sorry for not have faith in the legal system for now. Maybe Anna Hazare's anti corruption movement can also fix India's corrupt legal system in future
You can use that type of (flawed)argument for all rightful assassinations. That's like a British man saying Udham Singh is also a coward by killing dyar by not allowing him first to explain himself of why he killed so many people in Jillianwala baagh. Assassinations always use unorthodox methods, this assassination was no different.
No, attacking the Sri Harmandir Sahib was an evil act of Adharma by a woman who was the very embodiment of Adharma. If she carries out a crime against the Hindus, she is wrong(emergency, supports cow killing, she killed sadhus), but if she carries out evil acts against the Sikhs she is good for you. I would have condemned her if she had attacked a Mandhir killing thousands of Hindu pilgrims. Be fair my brother.
