Indian Ocean not your backyard: China military tells India

No surprise that China is already warning India on this matter.

From next decade huge Chinese CBGs will regularly patrol the Indian Ocean.

The only two powers in the IOR will be the US and Chinese Navies.
sure Bangladeshi:laugh:

Chinese air force over andman and south india?Good joke.
Ballistic missiles -short range ballistic missiles don't have the range which comprise nearly 85% of chinese ballistic missile arsenal. You start launching IRBMS and ICBMs ,its nuclear war anyway because the other side doesn't know which missile have which warheads. In any case its not like ballistic missiles in conventional role are a wonder weapon, thousands were fired in iran-iraq war, hundreds in gulf war ..didn't play any decisive role.
China can prepare all they want and do what they want in their home area, here in the indian ocean..you are a LOONG way from home .Not only can we beat the PLAN in IOR,if we are sufficiently irritated we will join usa-japan and complete the encirclement of china -sealing the fate of its ambitions. In any case time is now on our side as our economy is growing and theirs slowing.

Is that the impression you got?USA navy is overstretched worldwide and is a freindly power in the maritime domain. They respect our interests in the IOR and thus we have no problems,as long as china does the same we won't have any problems either.Try hostility and you will be encircled.
And its a funny thing you do,in one post trying to be chinese, next post american..which is why its so hard to take you seriously.

I am American in all my posts. Tell me how am I a Chinese in any post?

The only thing funnier than Pak whining is the Chinese whining. :coffee:

India is simply no match for China in a war. China will whip India so bad in an all-out war that India will most probable disintegrate into it's many constituent parts.

I know you Indians are nationalistic but it is really silly to think that India is any match for China. China is going head to head with US in the coming decades and countries like India better keep out of the contest if they know any better.

Hmm... and somehow we are happily able to hang onto "South-Tibet" while the great power China whines? I doubt your ability to comprehend, however, the situation is a lot more complex in any war, let alone an all out one. India's policy is structured around defense, not aggression in most cases. However, I feel getting into any nuances will likely be a waste of time here.

As for China going head to head with US, your grandchildren will be repeating the same mantra. Does China even have a functioning self made aircraft carrier? Head to head with US.

India has no answer to upcoming Chinese SSNs like Type-95 which will be produced in mass. In a nutshell, India can import anything apart from large numbers of modern SSNs.

And before you quote your US imported P-8i, they will be blown out of the sky by the long-range SAMs that the Chinese destroyers/escorts will carry.

Once they shift their trade route from far east asia to Gawadar . then we will see who rule the south China sea :).

No such thing is going to happen. 95% of China live on its east coast.

@Gaznavi - the Chinese guy says 'backyard' is not the appropriate term to describe the geography of oceans and you twist it to some sort of aggressive posture? If anything, the Chinese guy actually acknowledged that India has to play the stabilizing role in that ocean. You seem to have got it backwards...;)
really??? thanks for such a precious information...........:p:P

Gawadar lolx . its a Chinese port .
beside all friendly relationships i consider Gawadar as Pakistani port not Chinease......... regardless we are with china and they are with us in every thick and thin..............we can't say Gawadar is theirs...

The same type 95 that usn says is still noisier than Akula 1?as for mass production, come back when they have 30 SSNs,before that we are not concerned. In any case USN and IN share data on chinese submarine movements.

How did the US know the noise level of Type-95 before it was even launched?

Type-093B has been recently launched and that is likely to be on the level of Akula-2 but with greatly improved sensors.

Type-95, while not up there with Virgina, will be even better and will be able to sink Indian ships with impunity.

USN tracks PLAN subs and these are its views. The current type 93 is still not more silent than old soviet victor 3.Their latest ssbn type 94 is noisier than 70s era delta 3.You think next one is going to be near virginia class all of a sudden?MAGIC?

Chinese submarines have one problem and thats they are very noisy.A japanese admiral even laughed at them openly saying they pound like a drum or bell on patrol.

Current Type 93 is level of Victor3/early Los Angeles - that is the submarine that is really noisy admittedly and USN/ Japanese Navy can easily track.

Recently launched Type-93B - level of Akula 2/improved Los Angeles.

Soon to be launched Type-95 should be somewhere in between improved Los Angeles and Virginia class. India simply will not be able to counter even a few Type-95s that are sent to engage Indian Navy in IOR.

PS - why are you quoting a blog from 2009 as the latest Type-93B had not even been launched then?
